Memorial Day weekend

It was busy with folks and street performers! I would have liked there to have been a boat docked for the kids to tour or a better view to sit and watch the water. But it was neat.

Loved all of the boutiques and restaurants. Really appreciated the outlet stores as well. Pet stores and dog friendly shops were fantastic too!

Great time to people watch, enjoy artists of all kinds, eat fresh ice cream, watch planes take off and land. Be sure to go into the Torpedo Art Center and check out all the cool artists and their unique creations. Gets even better at night!

It is a great place to sit at night and people watch. If the weather is nice it's the place to go to sit and take a load off. Enjoy

There is more than enough park space to mix with restaurants and shops. Every time I go there it seems better than before. The next improvement should be map signage of the "you are here" variety. For example, the parks are not well known or easy to find, and the location of some historic treats, such as the cobblestone areas... More

It's a relaxing place for us. You can visit the Torpedo Factory (which is an artsy shop place, for those who may be wondering), there's a nice Irish pub nearby, a pet accessory place, the historic sites and vibe (some lovely old churches), some businesses put out water bowls for pets. Just nice to go to the pier, sometimes see... More

There are many unique shops and restaurants in this area...no franchises. You can find cute souvenirs or expensive boutique items. You can also find just about any kind of food. When you walk all the way down to the Potomac River, you have a great view. On a clear day, we can see all the way to the Washington Monument.... More

A must do for visitors and a "go to" for locals. Check out the pier, boat rides to the Nationals ballgame and the National Harbor and the relaxing park with dog walkers, picnickers. If the time is right go to the Chart House for a great Happy Hour.

The waterfront is always a great place to start or end one's day in Old Town. We enjoyed Potomac River's tour of the monuments with a stopover in Georgetown for a couple of hours. A lot of choices of things to do and see!
