No disrespect to Pablo, our friendly guide but this tour was not about food. It was basically a very basic guided walk-about of Alexandria with some background/history of the place here & there and 5 stops where you just happened to eat. No real information about each place we ate in & no information about the food we were given... More

I went on the "Gastronomic Georgetown" food tour led by Sandy. I was with a group of 6 girlfriends, and we enjoyed ourselves on the beautiful fall day, though none of us felt that the experience was as good as it could have been. Tour guide: Seemed to be a novice, as he did not speak loudly enough for most... More

Food tours can go lots of different ways: there could be not enough food, a weird group, a bad tour guide, not so great food, etc. This tour was perfect. We had a knowledgeable tour guide, the food was good and in ample portions, and the group was talkative and friendly. I fully recommend this tour, but please note that... More

We had a great time on our Food and Walking tour of Old Town Alexandria. Most of the girls were from out of town so it was a neat experience to see the city in an organized way as well as getting to eat at very cool places! Our Tour Guide Terry was very knowledgeable and did a great job... More

We went on the Gastronomic Georgetown Food Tour. Our tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgable about the area we visited. However, The food and overall dining experience was somewhat of a disappointment. The first place we visited was J. Paul's. The table we were shown to needed to be cleaned before we could sit down. We were served lump... More

The food, tour guide and others on our tour were great. It was a lot of fun. We took the 3:00 tour and didn't need dinner that night. We wish we could have had more history on the tour.

Did the Gastronomic Georgetown food tour and had a great time. All the food was really good and our guide shared a great mix of stories, history and tips about the local area.

I was not very familiar with Ethiopian food so I thought taking a tour might be a good introduction. It was great. We met our guide at the U Street Station, learned some history of the Ethiopian people in DC, and then we ate… and ate… and ate! The food was wonderful. Our guide, Chris, had lots of in-depth knowledge... More

Andrew was a great tour guide today. He organized games appropriate for the event, which happened to be a bachelorette party. Also, he was excited to do a tour during the day, something that is slightly unusual! We went to four bars, each had specials. All of the ladies had a great time! Thank you Andrew for being a fun... Our tour guide gave us a steady dose of history, interesting tidbits, and answered questions as we strolled from venue to venue. We did the Capital Hill tour. The food was tasty, diverse, and plentiful. We had time to order extra drinks and walking through areas and neighborhoods I wouldn't otherwise had known about gave us an "insiders" view while...
