We visited the winery and at first were very impressed. We purchased several bottles of wine and a cheese tray. Our group fell in love with the olives. When asked to purchase more olives, they refused and would not sell any to us. We even offered to pay for a cheese tray and just get 4 cups of olives. Again... More

The setting: A College Weekend The Participants: 6 Students, 2 Parents (Where did they come from?) The Vineyard Tasting Staff: One, very nice, knowledgeable woman. A very enjoyable time was had by all. Our hostess, aka our wine tour guide and historian, was quite nice. Easy, pleasant and knowledgeable. The wines were a mix of whites, roses and reds; some... Tasting was in a good atmosphere and it was very professional, too. We loved both the area and the wine. Thank You!

This was my second visit to this winery. I brought my sister in law and it was her first visit. It a lovely winery and the wine is wonderful and some I would say are delicious, especially Othello and Kenmar. Yes, some of the wines are on the expensive side but worth every penny!

....our second visit and it did not disappoint! Wines are a bit more expensive than others....but worth it. Our favorites are the Sauvignon Blanc, White Star....and really liked their Othello Reserve...a limited edition Port like wine. We decided to join their wine club while we were there so our tasting was complimentary and a reduction on our purchase. We stay... More

I have been here twice, once with my boyfriend, and another with my best friend for her birthday. It's beautiful, only 20 minutes from staunton. The tasting was reasonable, I had more options the first time I went, the second time they were out of quite a few. We still ended up trying at least 6. You also get to... More

We have been a few times. We've had a "basic" tour - we've had the tour/tasting w/ lunch-box (call ahead) and we've been to Starry Nights (bought tickets to have dinner there). What a beautiful place & what a GREAT chef! The food that was served at Starry Nights was just lovely! So glad this is so close to us... More

I am relatively inexperienced, but I've visited several Virginia wineries now, and this might be my favorite. I like the interior and exterior (the view is lovely). I really enjoyed many of the wines, and the woman who hosted our tasting was informative and cheerful.

I would return to Veritas and would recommend it to friends and family. My mother and I visited in August for her birthday, and the lady who helped us with our tasting was really descriptive and provided great background about the history of the wine. She even let my mom have some of their sparkling wine since it was her... More

I was with a large group for a Wine & Design event, where we painted and drank wine. I used to attend the Starry Nights events but it's gotten so crowded that it's not enjoyable anymore. I would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
