We were invited to a pre-wedding celebration for friends and family at Veritas. The weather was beautiful and we drank wine and socialized on the large porch outside the tasting room. The Viognier was our favorite wine, and that of many other guests. The Rosé was a little dry for our taste. The Sauvignon Blanc was also a little drier... More

My husband and I visit this vineyard fairly frequently as we live about an hour south. We love it for a cool spring/fall afternoon excursion with beautiful views of the mountains and sweeping fields where you can sit on one of the seats they have out there, on the deck, or bring a chair and picnic and make an afternoon... Don't miss Veritas ! We have been going here for years and it has only gotten better. The wines , whether red or white are wonderful. We are yearly visitors and stay on the grounds to take in the wine, food and mountain scenery. A very delicious trip awaits at this stop. In Vino Veritas!!!

Beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Large and comfortable tasting room. Large banquet room and big covered porch. Wines are very good especially the Rose' and Viogney. A must winery to visit. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy. One of favorites.

We've been here before and have enjoyed the wines, the facilities, and the staff. It's a beautiful setting -- vineyards; rolling hills; mountains, etc. We stopped by mid afternoon on a Friday and were immediately waited on. No rush; 8 tastings (for $7 -- and you keep the glass). You can join their wine club (lots of options there) which... More

This is a larger winery that was a bit disappointng. They were having a big event that evening and the staff seem preoccupied with that and not the guests who were there to taste wine. It was somehwat impersonal and they offered limited tasting opportunities. The wines were well made and we bought some as we cannot get these in... More

The tasting room and grounds were beautiful, the person who did my tasting (Terry) was great, the wine was just ok.

We went to this winery on a recent wine weekend getaway and were very pleased with the wines here. We knew a little about some of their wines from friends who had been there, and we had gotten a chance to sample a couple of their wines last October at the Mount Vernon Wine Festival. My husband initially thought that... More

We went to Veritas Vineyard on the suggestion of the owner of our B&B. we were too early for a wine tasting, and so satisfied ourselves with a tour of the grounds and a pleasant stay in the main hall. We did purchase a couple of bottles of wine as gifts, and our hostess gave us sips to insure that... More
