One of Afton Mountain's finest wineries

The wine tasting was a little expensive but was not charged because we purchased wines. We ended up buying half a case. The owner's dog was very friendly.

Always enjoy visiting Cardinal Point, friendly staff, quality wines and I prefer smaller production where the focus is on great wine using quality local grapes. Their annual Oyster Festival is outstanding........check them out!

We knew we only had time for one vineyard in Afton and had selected Cardinal Point. Overall, we now wished we would have selected the other one. Service: Henry seemed uninterested during the wine tasting. Vineyard: No views here. All of the common area's sit beneath the vineyard. Tasting: Based on the vineyard we visited the day before, this one... More

We visited Cardinal Point winery as part of the Nelson 151 wine trail. This was a nice visit and the woman leading the tasting was really nice and friendly. Even gave us dinner suggestions. We would like to attend some of their events some time. Wines were good. Tastings are offered at the bar during normal business hours for $7... More

I haven't been to many wineries, so I'm not drawing from a lot of experience when I say this was my least favorite winery. The service was okay. I didn't particularly care for the wine. There wasn't one that really stood out. There was an outdoor patio with tables and seating. It was also just okay, nothing special. The seating... More

We were in the area in August for our 25th Anniversary. Ended up taking a tour given by our Bed and Breakfast (Arcady Vineyard B&B). This is a winery that we might have missed otherwise but we are so glad it was on the tour. It's a small establishment compared to some in the area. Don't let that deter you.... More

I enjoyed this winery more than the others I went too in the area. Every wine I tasted was AMAZING. I am not a white wine drinker at all but I even thoroughly enjoyed theirs. I prefer a dryer wine, not too sweet. The tasting room is nothing super fancy, but it was very comfortable and the staff they had... More

We really enjoyed our visit at Cardinal Point. Our server was friendly and suggested other wineries and restaurants in the area to visit. They have a unique hopped chardonnay that is worth a try!

Six of us stopped by Cardinal Point on the 4th of July and we all got a bang out of our experience. Family run, this small winery has some of the best wines in the state. Samplings were $7, but free for teachers and military. I do appreciate the recognition for those of us who have worked hard for our... More

Loved the A6 white and the Viognier. This place is well known and enjoyed for family friendly musical events and fun.
