We saw the musical "Legally Blonde" and it was FABULOUS! The staff is so friendly & helpful & the theatre is beautiful. It is a little cold in the theatre so be sure & take a jacket.

The Barter Theater plays are as good as anything I've seen in NYC. The actors are top notch. The tickets are reasonable and the seating is comfortable. A must on a trip to Abingdon.

Plays here are always extremely well-done. Stage II is a "Thrust" theater with seating stacked around three sides of the stage --- very intimate but also very jam-packed and not very comfortable.
