Staying in Abingdon for a day, our innkeeper recommended a visit here. We had previously visited an olive oil shop in our home city. This one has it beat hands down. K.C., the owner, has a hit here. We enjoyed the tasting room and the entire visit. We did purchase a few of the recommended oils and vinegars - also... More

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Made you feel welcome, answered all questions. Taste testing provided. A beautiful store. Products a bit pricey, but excellent taste and variety. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This is so fun (and educational). Who knew you could have tasting rooms?? Some of the best oils anf balsamic so I've ever had. It was hard to decide. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Penny gives a great introduction and suggestions for how to pair the olive oils. I hear she is a fabulous cook. Notice the art... More

Very fun, unique experience! We went in and were greeted by a very friendly woman who procceded to give us a quick 10-15 min tour. We were able to sample a lot of olive oils and vinagrettes. There were so many different types and varieties and all very yummy! It has a beautiful atmosphere and would definitely reccommend!

We did not expect to be so entertained when we wandered in. We were enthusiastically greeted by a woman (owner? not sure) who explained the products, process, layout, uses, and unlimited possibilities with the oils and vinegars filling three large rooms. We needed to stop after a few wonderful tastes, because we had just eaten and we had a massage... More

The staff here make it so fun to try the different olive oils, balsamics, and spice mixes. They are quick to suggest pairings of oils and balsamics and what foods with which to use them. I have been back many times and I'm always welcomed like an old friend. They also do beautiful wrapping if your purchase is a gift... More

My friends and I visited Abingdon for the first time yesterday. We stayed at one of the local hotels and there they recommended we visit The Abingdon Olive Oil Company. Upon arrival we were welcomed into this lovely place with smiling faces and an informative tour. We were shown around the shop and given a few to taste. Then we... More

We came in to taste and were met with an obligatory tour of the place. We learned more than we wanted to know and tasted a lot of combinations I really didn't want. That said, though, the oils and balsamic vinegars are wonderful and come in nearly every imaginable flavor. I left with herbes de Provence, Tuscan medley and butter... More

Let me start by saying that the products are great. That said it makes the overwhelming way that they feel the need to impress you seem over the top. The lady mentioned at least 5 times that she was a "world traveler" in a bragging condescending way. She also insisted that we try the oils and vinegars her way and... More
