Lots of cheese selections and all over priced. You would get a better selection by going to a local large supermarket.
We stopped here, as we were driving by and being huge fans of cheese, felt that we had to! We were able to sample just a few kinds, which as others have said, it would have been nice to have a few more samples, but you take what you can get. In any case, it is not a huge store,... More
This store is for cheese - not really a fancy gift shop. Keep that in mind. If you are looking for some very good Vermont cheese (Rat Trap, Truck Driver - great very sharp cheeses) this is the place to get them. Don't mistake this for some huge tourist shop and you won't be disappointed.
We are cheese lovers and have found a lot of cheese in the US lacks the depth of flavour we get at home. So, it was great to find a place that sold a wide range of artisan cheeses that are as good as any made on the other side of the Atlantic. We were so impressed we bought a... More
We were in the Manchester/Arlington VT area, saw a FULL PAGE ad in a tourist brochure so thought we'd check this out. When we pulled up to the store it looked promising, part of it was in shape of a cheese wheel. Once we entered the store we were sorely disappointed. It was much smaller inside than expected. They did... More
I bought two Christmas gifts while there; its not just a cheese house lots of nice gifts to choose from. They had recycled mittens. Which means someone bought lightly used sweaters and then turned them into mittens. They are very nice, that was one of the Christmas gifts I bought. Wished I bought more. I also bought cranberry cheese, jam,... More

Artisanal cheeses from the area in addition to a fine international selection awaits you. Would you like a sample? Never a problem! Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Besides the cheeses there is a... More
this place looks like a giant circle of cheese from the outside. Inside it is sparkling with lots of different cheeses from all over the world. Fun just browsing and buying wine and cheese to eat on a porch overlooking the battenkill.
Apparently the other customers that have been here haven't been to any other cheese places... They had a few samples, but not as many as I would have liked. They didn't have a bathroom (What is it with places in this area not having bathrooms for customers?) They did have an average selection of items in the store, but nothing... More
In exploring the area, I found mention of this place in a local tourist brochure so set out to find it. It's easy to find, sitting right on 7A just outside of Arlington VT. The woman working the shop was very pleasant and we had a nice chat. I wanted to buy some cheese but am not a big cheese... More
