A Public course that can be challenging with its rolling hills. Once a private TPC golf venue in a nice neighborhood.
Played a round with my wife on a recent trip to Austin. At check-in I explained to the golf pro that my wife was just a beginner and how she was reluctant to play as she feared she would interfere with the play of others. Golf pro encouraged her to play and went a step further by not combining us... More
I own a Austin VIP golf card and was not familiar w. the limitations that it had on Sundays and the fact that you could not use it until after 12. I called in to set up a tee time and the gentleman on the phone explained that I could use it for Sunday and let me set up a... More
Best daily fee in area for sure. Greens roll fast, fairways lush, rough is high enough to be rough. Great views. Get tee times cause it can get a lot of play. Locals can purchase reasonable membership.
Used to be a TPC course when Falconhead opened. Now public and pretty good for the average to skilled golfer. Close to home and able to pay monthly fees instead of the high rates charged at the other local private courses

The greens were certainly challenging. A little on the expensive side but I will certainly play this one again in the future.

Friendly staff, beautiful resort (although we didn't stay at the resort). We played here at the end of October and the course was in very nice shape. By far the most most difficult public course we played around Austin. One thing was I was a little surprised by the high price (approx. $145.00). Dollar for dollar we all agreed that... More

this course is set in nice surondings but its greens are not in the best of shape. the 17th hole is one of the nicest I have seen but won't rush back
