Played Falconhead Tuesday 4/29/14 for the first time on my annual guys golf trip. The course is decent but my friends and I have never been treated so rudely in all of our years of playing......we are in our 60's. One of our groups had some high handicappers and was playing slowly so all four groups got hounded and constantly... More

Great local, public golf course. Provides ample challenges to better my game. Well kept and nice pro shop staff.

A Public course that can be challenging with its rolling hills. Once a private TPC golf venue in a nice neighborhood.

Played a round with my wife on a recent trip to Austin. At check-in I explained to the golf pro that my wife was just a beginner and how she was reluctant to play as she feared she would interfere with the play of others. Golf pro encouraged her to play and went a step further by not combining us... More

I own a Austin VIP golf card and was not familiar w. the limitations that it had on Sundays and the fact that you could not use it until after 12. I called in to set up a tee time and the gentleman on the phone explained that I could use it for Sunday and let me set up a... More

Best daily fee in area for sure. Greens roll fast, fairways lush, rough is high enough to be rough. Great views. Get tee times cause it can get a lot of play. Locals can purchase reasonable membership.

Used to be a TPC course when Falconhead opened. Now public and pretty good for the average to skilled golfer. Close to home and able to pay monthly fees instead of the high rates charged at the other local private courses

We managed to play 18 holes at this very nice course in SW Austin. The course is well maintained and very playable. It is a little long so plan on adding a few strokes for the average golfer. The greens were certainly challenging. A little on the expensive side but I will certainly play this one again in the future.

I played at the end of March, which is considered their busy season. My rate for a 3PM tee time for 18 holes, cart, and a few balls for the range was $55 with taxes. If this is cheap or expensive might be relative to what you are used to. I found for the quality of the course it was... More

Friendly staff, beautiful resort (although we didn't stay at the resort). We played here at the end of October and the course was in very nice shape. By far the most most difficult public course we played around Austin. One thing was I was a little surprised by the high price (approx. $145.00). Dollar for dollar we all agreed that... More
