We went to a Saturday night late show in August 2015 and laughed long and hard at their skits and songs. Lots of variety, and the intermittent magic provided the perfect mix of entertainment. Would be better if their A/C was effective or if the little hard chairs didn't leave us sitting shoulder to shoulder; and expect your butt to... More

Esther's Follies is one of those experiences you can try to describe but can't do justice. Singing, dancing, and a magician that will leave your wife panting... Topics for skits and songs are all inspired by the latest news and social trends. You will find something laugh out loud in every scene, even the ones Austin specific that you can... More

I bring every out of town visitor here and sometimes just come for myself. I LOVE Esther's Follies. It is a very happy place! It's okay for children and they are welcome! - PG13 humor. Most recently brought my 9 year old son and he loved the Magic portions and comedy. The adult humor stuff goes over his head and... More

While walking along sixth street, I noticed people performing in a window outside a theater. My mother and I went to the door and decided to go to the 10 pm show. IT WAS GREAT!! There is magic. dancing, singing and acting (very talented people). The cast creates their sketches based on pop music/culture so this show is not for... More

We laughed for the entire 90 minutes! It was a cast of amazing talent (although the magician is the star of the show, IMO). Even with the extra cost of reserving tickets, it was worth the $70 for my husband and I. We still can't stop talking and laughing about it. I agree it's not a child friendly show- but... More

We loved every minute from the first to the last song. The magic was unreal... Fantastic show all around. Every seat was good, both Reserved and General Admission.

I absolutely loved the show. There was constant singing and laughter. They do call on members of the audience, so be sure to avoid eye contact at those timesif you hate being on stage. It was family friendly and upbeat. Highly recommended.

This comedy / magic show is right on 6th street and was highly entertaining. The fairly current and topical content sung to a variety of hit tunes had everyone laughing. If you buy general admission tickets think about getting their 30-45 minutes early, especially if you are more than two people, to try and get decent seats all together. Tickets... More

As another reviewer mentioned, this is like being in the audience of Saturday Night Live, only 1000 times better and with so much more heart and talent! When we were informed of this outing, I was a little hesitant because I didn't know that much about Esther's Follies and what that experience entailed. However, I am SO glad I went.... More
