A Ton of Fun

Tht e evening was unexpected and just a ton of fun. I will put Esther's Follies on my list to visit on every trip to Austin--which is about once a quarter.

This is a great way to spend a few hours in Downtown Austin, especially between dinner and bar hopping. We were entertained from beginning to end. It is a small theater, so there are no bad seats. Make sure you reserve your tickets before you go as shows sell out early. Get there when the doors open and you may... More

Do you want to laugh till your sides hurt? Well Esther's Follies is the show for you when in Austin, Texas. This place gives a whole new meaning to "Texas,a whole different country." What fun, it is so fast moving...not a boring moment! We especially liked the open windows to the outside sidewalk of 6th street. As people walk by,... More

I've been coming to Esther's Follies for over 30 years and they never disappoint! This is SNL on steroids, and a lot funnier, with magic and great musical/dance numbers.

a great hour plus, we enjoyed it all, regardless of politics. No one, nothing was sacred. Loved it, lots of talent, don't miss it! Reception staff was wonderful, a great first impression.

On February 26, 2015, my wife and I went to see Esther's Follies in Austin. A couple of years ago we went to Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco and the reivews of Esther's sounded similarly appealing. We were not disappointed. The enthusiastic cast and the various props were hilarious, and the magician was quite an illusionary artist. With a... More

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and had a great time. The show was very funny and the characters were amazing. They stayed up to date on the current events and even had a magic show. I don't think the tickets are worth 25 per person. Maybe 20 or even 15. Still good though. Will be back.😇

This was the second time for me to visit this spot. We were with a group of ten. Eight had never experienced Austin humor. At first it looks like a house downtown Austin on 6th St. Walking inside the excitement begins. We were greeted by the actors and ushered inside. Right away we knew this would be an experience to... have been multiple times over several years. love going back. political satire is great. Watching the public on the street through the large front windows adds lots of humor to the skits.
