On February 26, 2015, my wife and I went to see Esther's Follies in Austin. A couple of years ago we went to Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco and the reivews of Esther's sounded similarly appealing. We were not disappointed. The enthusiastic cast and the various props were hilarious, and the magician was quite an illusionary artist. With a... More

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and had a great time. The show was very funny and the characters were amazing. They stayed up to date on the current events and even had a magic show. I don't think the tickets are worth 25 per person. Maybe 20 or even 15. Still good though. Will be back.😇

This was the second time for me to visit this spot. We were with a group of ten. Eight had never experienced Austin humor. At first it looks like a house downtown Austin on 6th St. Walking inside the excitement begins. We were greeted by the actors and ushered inside. Right away we knew this would be an experience to... Growing up near Austin, I have attended Esther's Follies countless times over the years and it is still my absolute favorite entertainment in Austin! The venue is really cool, the location is wild, and the show is f***ing hilarious! This is my favorite place to bring guests that are visiting the city and it's an awesome place to celebrate special... More

have been multiple times over several years. love going back. political satire is great. Watching the public on the street through the large front windows adds lots of humor to the skits.

Bought tickets a few months in advance as I saw they were selling out fast. Definitely worth the extra money to purchase the premium tickets! This show is AMAZING. They stay current on events and incorporate humor with music and magic to make a truly enjoyable show!

I saw the holiday version of this show several years ago when visiting Austin, and just saw it again. This version was a contemporary take with lots of political satire and still the awesome classic Magic acts. Great fun!

And with the charm of a small theater! We laughed a lot from the beginning to the end, excellent plan for an evening in town.

From magic, to singing, dancing, and comedy, this show has it all. sort of a cutting edge Jackie Gleason show, heavy on political satire.the time went by so fast, we all wished the show was longer. One of my favorite shows of all time, including Broadway!
