A really magical little spot in Austin to enjoy with your family. However, it can get very crowded on weekends and holidays so choose your timing wisely.

Of Course everyone wants ride the train, and the playground itself is fun for kids (I liked the grabber that you hold onto above your head, and ride 30 yards. that snakey wobbly rubber seesaw is cool, too! :) Of course you want to check out the most amazing natural spring pool in North America, Barton Springs, but don't forget... This park in Austin is a great place for family fun. There is a train to ride (good for the little ones) as well as a huge playground.

It goes without saying that as parks and playground become more widely known, that you will meet many crowds wanting to do the same thing. The problem this place has is that the car park is bigger than the area can accomadate. My daughter is less than 2, so very little, and the volume of people is cute huge. Everyone... More

It's fun and conveniently located next to the mini train (walking distance). There is also a sand pit in one of the areas. The only problem I had was with watching all three of my boys there. As long as you have enough manpower to watch your young children you will love this place!

The whole family can have fun here. The major attraction is the train ride. Good grub at the food stand. Kids love this place.

There is a toddler area with a large sand pit that my girls loved, but once they started exploring the larger area, I felt like I really had to be on my toes and watch them because the playground crosses the Zilker train tracks. Excellent playground that kept my girls' attention for over an hour! Will definitely return. Expect to... More

We all had fun here! The kids were able to get out and about (visiting from the U.P. of Michigan in the WORST Winter ever this was welcomed!). The playground(s) are fun and engaging. We also enjoyed the walking path. And of course, the train is not to be missed.

We took our 2 1/2 year old grand daughter to the park. I was surprised that they wanted 5 dollars to park, but the nice attendant pointed us to free parking about 50 yards away (so don't pay unless someone in your group has trouble walking- heck we were there for a "walk-in-the-park" anyway). The mini-train looked fun but was... More
