Took a client here for lunch. I have been here many times and the staff is always professional, the food is great. Beautiful hotel and if you are here during the Christmas holidays, it is breathtaking!

Met some friends for a drink and some music. Country trio upstairs at the bar. Ordered drinks and after almost half an hour's wait got up and found another waitress to place the order again. Both waitress' showed up at the same time, drank one drink order, tipped the band and left. Don't think I'll be going back there again,... More

We ate here for breakfast because reviews of eggs benedict were so good. I must be really picky because I found them to be barely average. The food was cold and the english muffins weren't even toasted. My husband had an omelet and it also came out cold. We heard the table next to us complaining about the food as... More

Took my sister there with her daughter. Just the best place for a drink and some nuts to munch. Comfy, classy, quiet, great service. Definitely better than some cheap coffee shop, and the same price basically.

Spin by the bar one flight up for wonderful chocolate cupcakes and a chocolate martini after dinner somewhere on 6th.

This restaurant is located in the Driskill Hotel which is a historic hotel from the 1800s. They have done a great job maintaining the original architecture. The food was excellent as was the service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Austin area

Great upscale location close to the bar scene, its very historic and has a great little bakery called 1886 inside of it. Can get expensive fast but its a nice non big box hotel to enjoy for a night or two.

Did not have the pleasure of staying here...just a drink in the Grill while roaming around downtown. Beautiful facility with lots of history, and obviously the place to meet in downtown. The hotel is also right at the beginning of the cool, funky section of 6th Street that Austin has become famous for, so it's a fun walk from the... More

Even if you don't stay here, stop in a wander around. It's really beautiful. Peak into the ballrooms if you can.
