Great food at the Driskill.

We've only had food here, but both times it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and it was really clean.

The Driskill is a real icon in Austin, and holds a good bit if history. Some monumental oil deals were cut in the hotel that effect us yet today. If you don't want to spring for the stay, stop in for a cocktail at happy hour. It's really worth the time.

Visited here twice for lunch, had the quiche each time. Beautiful pastry and perfectly made with a lovely salad. First time I had great service, second time I was a little disappointed with the service. But would return based on the great food.

This building is worth a stay if you are coming to Austin. This history and aesthetics are pleasing. You are paying for the experience and location to the night life. I would recommend staying a long weekend for any large Austin event if you want to be close to the night life. I also recommend trying to acquire a high... More

Lovely old hotel. The rooms are cozy and nicely renovated. The piano bar in the back is a very nice way to relax and have some laid back cosy coctails

Nice hotel, beautiful inside, rooms are comfy with super high ceilings and luxe bathrooms. Best thing about the hotel, though, is the history! You feel the weight of it's history as you walk around.

On our final day of our trip in Austin, we found ourselves a little stuck with what to with our luggage before taking a flight later that day/evening. Even though we weren't staying at The Driskill, the staff were so kind and were happy to look after our bags safely in a luggage area. We decided to have some breakfast... More

It's haunted, you know. And beautiful. Whether you spend the night, stop for dinner, or just a drink, you'll delight in the ambiance this beautiful historic hotel surrounds you in. The staff is also fabulous.

We just stopped in for cocktails. I have to say the ambiance is wonderful, the service quick, professional and friendly. The architecture is amazing. The drinks were great. They had a very good duo playing music and the volume was just right so you could hear each other talk. Very nice

Gorgeous architecture in a very convenient location. Perfect for dinner out or just stop by for a drink and people watching at the bar.
