It was a hot and sunny day but the open air bus/boat was a welcome relief from the heat. Our tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgable of the scenes in Austin and gave us plenty of trivia to stay entertained. The most exciting part was the cruise along Lake Austin. We were totally amazed at the ease of... I am pretty late on writing this review but I still remember the experience which is what really counts!! My boyfriend and I (both in our mid 20s) attended one of the duck tours probably back in 2012. I got a deal through Groupon or Travelzoo (one of those type places). It looked like something fun and different to do... More

Almost 90 minutes of PG rated fun. Randy, our tour guide was incredibly funny, informative and kept things lively. This is the fastest way to learn about Austin from architecture, to the Governor's mansion, State Capitol, University and celebrity neighborhoods (Matthew Mcconaughey, Sandra Bullock, Tommy Lee Jones and Michael Dell) The trip into Austin Lake was pretty cool with about... We went just to get out and see Austin. It was much more fun than we expected. We had our teens and 3 yr old. I would plan on arriving early to get there on time especially if you don't know the area. The guide was funny and very knowledgeable! Great time overall.

A great way to see Austin without having to walk the streets. The kids on the tour loved the "quacker" you are given at the start. The tour guide was very informative. I would definitely recommend this to tour to anyone visiting.

This was our 2nd time on the Duck Tour, if that tells you anything. Make reservations, and then enjoy. Not too hot/not to cold, just right driving through Austin blowing your duck whistle. Parents, Do not get onto the kids for having fun and blowing, that's what the trip is for. Although our guide was better last year, we still... More

Loved seeing so much of Austin without having to walk. Free quacker included with your tour and what better way to end your tour than with a boat ride on the lake!

We had a great time with the kids. They enjoyed the duck lips. They also liked it when we went into the water. Go early to avoid the hot tx weather?

The Austin Duck Tour departs from the Visitor Center downtown. The driver was very entertaining and the trip around the key sites of Austin - not that there are too many - was interesting and profession. The 'excitement' came from the water-borne section of the tour. After about 10 minutes our duck developed a steering fault. This meant that we... More
