Awesome record store in Austin. Incredible selection, very helpful and friendly staff and generally a lot of music fans shopping here (which is great to see for the art and industry). Found a couple rare albums I was looking for and had a lot of fun checking out everything they had. Most record stores are gone now but this place... More

Lots of CDs, vinyl, music t-shirts, and other cool stuff. If you're really into music, this is the place for you. A little bit of everything here. Huge selection of music. If you find yourself in Austin, you may want to add Waterloo Records to your "to do" list.

The atmosphere was just what a record shop should be, they have a huge variety, it's very organized. The staff is very nice and helpful, I wasn't able to get the album I wanted because they were out of stock but the employees offered to call me when they got them in again. I loved it and wish I lived... More

I travel a lot for work, and have enjoyed shopping in used CD shops across the country which now are sadly disappearing as people prefer downloading over buying CDs. While on the way to Whole Foods (just across the street) we stopped in here to check out the selection of new & used CDs. They had a wide variety of... More

I enjoy visiting Waterloo Records. Lots of neat things for the music enthusiast, also tons of knick knacks that you can't find everywhere. I scored some mustache band-aids for my son and a magnetic word game for my husband. I also found a little recycled paper clutch for my loose change. Wide variety of vinyl's with decent prices. Added bonus... More

Spent almost 2 hours and lots of $$$$$'s in here, as the selection of vinyl records was awesome. I usually spend lots more per vinyl on purchasing from UK, so had such a great time choosing, that i even came back fir more later in the day.

Enjoyed shopping here- they had a great selection of more obscure movie titles that I found great- as well as newer blue ray disc exclusives. Some of the music seemed a bit pricey, but they had some great sales as well. I could spend a few hours here browsing.
