Stopped here because my son is a musician and it sounded like fun. They have everything from tchochkies, paintings and prints, jewelry, and tees, as well as instruments and accessories such as guitar straps. We buy an ornament from each of our travels and they had miniature instruments you don't usually find - oboes, accordions etc, as well as guitars... More

We were visiting Austin and walked into this store. My husband is a musician and they have everything music related~guitars, instruments, T-shirts, shirts, pictures, etc. As we were looking around a nice lady started talking with us and asked us if we would be interested in taking a tour of Austin. Wild About Music is a small, fun, eclectic retail store that has been in downtown Austin for many years. In the early 2000's we bought several art pieces we still enjoy and our first Austin City Limits tees long before they were sold at the airport shop. We walked in to look around and they had super cute things to buy with anything music related. I did not get anything but worth taking a peek at.

They had recently moved to their new location and it was a really neat store. They had all kinds of musical novelties and were priced ok.

My fiancé and I walked in and immediately wished we had more money. There was awesome stuff there that we could afford as well as stuff we plan to save for. The staff was awesome and helpful as well.
