Pete's is a Rock & Roll Dueling Piano Bar. If singing as loud as possible in a crowd is not for you sit at the back of the room. If you can't take a joke sit at the back of the room. Arrived at Petes Saturday evening at 7:00 and was told pianos start at 8:00 pm. $9.00 cover charge per person. Came back at almost 8:00 and got a table right in front of the pianos. Having been to a piano bar in Vegas, we expected a little more "dueling" to occur, however it was still a pleasant evening overall. Drink... More

Best time I have ever had at a dueling piano bar. The musicians were great and wonderful performers. You can lose track of time because you are having so much fun. The place is packed and not a whole lot of places to sit but well worth your time/ it is great for small or large parties and I am... More

Kept hearing about this place during my conference, so we went. The musicians were great, and they were having plenty of fun themselves. You can submit requests to them, and they know a wide range of music. The place definitely gets packed, so be ready for that.

Pretty ribald, a definite laugh if you can handle the other. The guys were entertaining and the audience was fun too. Worth a cruise by. Had a $3 cover charge (not a big deal). Less pushy on the tips if you were just there to watch than other places we had visited.

We can here after arriving in Austin from a very long delayed flight. This place perked us up right away and was a great start to our trip! I was apparently the first person to request ignition remix on a weekday night, but the bar truly appreciated it from their reaction. It is a must go!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Pete's. The music was entertaining and the audience participation was great. Get there early if you want a seat. Cover charge was $7 which is very cheap for live entertainment like this. Drink prices were comparable with the rest of 6th street.

Our friends in Austin suggested coming here for a night of drinks and entertainment.I was skeptical at first, but upon arriving thought, OK!NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.Yes there are two piano players, but also other musicians that rotate to play drums, then guitar, then piano, etc. It's not just two of the same piano players! There is alot of interaction with the crowd, and you can give a... More

With one of my friends we had nothing planned (yet) for a Saturday night in Austin, so we went on 6th St, ended up having one of our best nights out in Austin! This place is amazing, caring personnel and an electric ambiance thanks to the gifted pianists/actors! All night was about singing along with the whole bar and celebrating... More

This place was a lot of fun, the drinks are cheap and the music is great. Fantastic atmosphere with some very talented pianists. Particularly loved the banter and singalongs. Great night out.

This place is a ball. The drinks are strong, the staff was super friendly and the show was OUTSTANDING. The two piano players were GREAT and so funny!! Really, next time we are in Austin, we will reserve our Friday or Saturday night on the town for Pete's Dueling Piano Bar, for sure! Great Memories!
