We went in to the piano bar and very quickly realised it was too noisy and asked for a refund of the $9 cover charge. We couldn't see what was going on due to the seating arrangements. It would have been better if the customers had a view of both the pianists. I had been to a similar venue in... More

Unfortunately we went on a Monday and there was only about 20 people in. The piano players tried there hardest and so did the few people there but this is a place where you need a big crowd. The whole idea is a big sing along with requests to the piano players. Pianists were great entertainers and had incredible repertoirs... More

Had the best time at Pete's. Big and rowdy crowd, with mixed ages. Great evening of singing bar songs and watching people.

These guys/gals are great! This was my second visit to Pete's Dueling Piano's. So much fun, I had to take my sis when visiting Austin this past week. Unfortunately Tuesday on 6th is pretty tame, have to take her back on a weekend; however Pete's was rockin! The talented pianists there are outstanding, the drinks are good and the atmosphere... There was a line outside, so it was obviously popular. Standing room only inside, revelers were shoulder to shoulder, it was packed, loud and very upbeat. The players were taking song requests, engaging the crowd and showing us all a great time. True show persons; the environment was electric... non stop. Drinks were a little pricy, so I'd recommend a... More

I always have a great time at Pete's. The musicians are great and it is a fun atmosphere. The best night to go is Thursdays when 6th has a good number of people out, but there is no cover. Great place to end a night on 6th and easy to walk up just a few blocks to grab a cab/uber... More

We'd heard about this place prior to our visit - and it was as great as we expected! such an amazing atmosphere and fun way to spend a night with friends! plan ahead though because this place is hoppin' and there's a fair cover to get in ($10-$20 if I remember correctly). But more than worth it!

As entertaining as they are talented, the four musicians had the whole crowd laughing, singing, and dirty dancing up on stage all night. The crowd was a complete mix of ages, everyone was having a good time. The cover is $9 and a spirit and mixer is around $6.50. You can make song requests, and ask to get involved if... More

Visited with a group of friends on a Sunday night. Was quiet when we got there (before 9pm) but soon filled up! Talented musicians who played the crowd really well. If you like a good atmosphere, great music, comedy and participation this is the place for you!
