Took my girlfriend here. She loved taking pictures and peddling here little legs away towards the bridge and back and forth she went. Highly recommend for couples to go here to get to know each other and spend quality time together. It is also right under the bridge where the bats fly out at night time.

Todd and gang know what they are doing here - their bikes are well maintained, fairly priced, and just plain FUN to "bike" along the lake on! We and our adult kids had a great time and would definitely recommend. Not a lot of money involved and not a lot of time (if you don't want to spend much time... More

I was strolling along Lady Bird Lake in Austin when I saw these weird contraptions. I inquired and two hours later I was on the water with a friend. For $20 we rode around the lake easy-as-pie and stayed under the bridge for the bat emergence. What an incredible site. The bikes are super easy, super stable, and when they... More

Tried our the water bikes today, We got half hour for $10 and really enjoyed it,the views were stunning and we saw lots of wildlife,we parked in the Wyatt and walked behind it to the bike stand,we didn't need a reservation as it was mid week and very quiet, suitable for all fitness levels

My friends and I recently visited Austin and found Austin Water Bikes on Tripadvisor. We decided to chose this activity because it is unique, outdoor fun, scenic, and they have a Groupon! We called on Saturday to make reservations for Sunday and that was easy with open availaility for 4 people. We did not have any problem finding the location... More

Was slightly tough to get reservations for a bat tour, but finally did this past Saturday night. They have you get there a half hour prior to departure, but it's a bit tricky to find (have to walk through the lobby of the Hyatt) and then you have sign some forms, so it's understandable. The bikes are very stable, and... More

I highly recommend taking a ride on the water bikes in Austin, Texas. We came upon these on accident & both had a wonderful time out on the water riding these water bikes. They are easy to use & very relaxing. Much easier to control than paddle boats. They have cup holders for a beverage & nice storage space for... More

This was our second time to rent the water bikes and had a great time. Again. Only downside this time was the amount of seaweed in the water. Could only go east of congress avenue but not due to any fault of the rental facility. Not very strenuous so great fun for all ages.

This place is bizarre. Every time I've tried to go, they claim the water levels are too low. Finally, I had a reservation for the bat tour one night and they cancelled because there was a "chance" of rain, but it was a beautiful night. It makes me wonder whether they actually want any business.

I just moved to Austin a couple of months ago. I took my two kids and a friend down to Austin Water Bikes. My son and daughter don't get excited about outings with mom anymore but we all had so much fun. My kids want to go back. What's cool is that they have a small cooler and drink holders... More
