The Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail is truly the heart of Austin. Run or walk, 1, 2,3,...to 10 miles based on your choice of bridges. Take a casual stroll or a work on the pace of your run... the whole time checking out all the other beautiful people in Austin. The "crowds" start well before sunrise, year round. More

Great for a spring walk lots of dogs, lots of people but pleasant veiws in the middle of the bustling city. Parking is an issue. More

We took the Hike and Bike from the Embassy Suites near the South Congress bridge and followed it around to Barton Springs Pool. Loved it! Well planned out, shaded most of the way and very well maintained. It follows Town Lake and allows gorgeous views. More

This is one of those running trails that never goes out of style. Fun to run on crushed gravel. More

Walked to Barton Springs along the trail. Interesting things along the way - symphony building, little lookout with spiral path, good ligthed fountain. More
