My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time on lady bird lake this past Saturday! The husband and wife team that make up this business are fantastic! They paid attention to details, made sure we were well equipped and informed and they offer a very very fair rate per hour. The best thing? How secluded their entrance is to the... More

We did the night tour to see the bats, and we were not disappointed! Casey, the owner and operator, was a great host. He was helpful and informative, and he was good at accommodating all skill levels with kayaking. His style is to let you travel the lake at your own pace. It was a great way to see the... More

My husband and I spent a day in Austin and really wanted to do something fun and outdoorsy. We saw that Live Love Paddle was highly rated and was a great, if not the best, way to see the Congress Avenue Bats. Casey, the owner, was a very friendly and fun tour guide. Me being a first time kayaker, he... More

This was a major highlight of our trip to Austin. Anyone wanting a guaranteed view of the bats and isn't afraid of getting a little wet has to do this. I say a guarantee because the tour depends on it, and depending on the time of night the bats decide to leave, it may be hard to see them from... More

We loved our kayak trip to Congress Bridge. The one mile trip back and forth was just the right length, and the view of the bats at around 8:15pm was amazing! Our guide, Casey, had good knowledge of the bats and Austin in general, and he made our trip comfortable and memorable - can't say enough...so glad we did this!

When we visited Austin, we knew that part of the trip was going to see the bats at dusk leave the Congress Bridge. At first, we were going to just walk on the bridge and view the bats from above but after a little research, we decided to take the kayak tour and see the bats from below. Sure glad... More

I've been several times to Live Love Paddle. Casey is super nice (and knowledgeable when it comes to bat facts, kayaking, and Texas history in general). I recommend the evening bat tour. It's the best time of the day in Austin and you learn a lot. You get a view of the bats that no one else will see, especially... More

We have gone with Live Love Paddle twice and will be going again on our next trip to Austin too! First of all, the trip is great family fun! Our three kids (ages 12, 10, 9) all love it. And the view of the bats is different each time; but it is without a doubt better experienced from the water... More

A couple years ago my husband and I did a trip with Live Love Paddle and had such an amazing experience that we had to go back and this time we brought our daughter. Casey was our guide and he was so knowledgeable about Austin, history, bats...his stories were fascinating! We had so much fun and Casey took extra time... More

Two friends and I decided to take a trip to a city that none of us have ever visited before. On our last night in Austin we took the kayak tour to see the bats fly out from the Congress Bridge. This was my favorite part of the trip. The view of the city from the water was great and... More
