Live Love Paddle has potential to be an excellent kayak tour company, but on the day of my trip with them their execution of services was a bit flawed. Here's the good: 1. Booking through their website was easy. 2. The tour guides were friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable about bats and Austin in general. 3. They had lockers to store... More

Guide and trip was great! Shared great info about bats and Austin and made it entertaining. Saw lots of bats. Nice paddle to and from the bridge. Paddle back was in the dark, but made for a very peaceful time. City at night over the lake was lovely. Would recommend to friends and would easily take this trip again.

Took my 11 year old niece (no experience) with me (little experience) to go on Congress bridge bat tour. A short briefing and we were in a tandem kayak. We headed out individually with goal to meet near Congress bridge. Our guide, Allison, ensured we all made it. She gathered us up at bridge, gave a little history of Austin,... More

I spent the summer in Austin this year, and had the opportunity to go on two bat tours. Both were exceptional experiences and I cannot speak more highly of Live Love Paddle. Live Love Paddle provides a fun, relaxed atmosphere complete with a sweet dog named Oliver minding the office. The guides are fun, engaging, and extremely informative. I can't... More

My son (12) and I wanted to see the bats for his birthday and this trip was well worth it. The boats and gear were of good quality and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The views of the bats were fantastic as was the extra info about Austin. The paddling was reasonable and it was a beautiful way to... More

Went here with a group, they have single and double kayaks. The rates seem to be pretty reasonable too.

By golly I'm not saying the guide asked for too much tip, but I got lots of tips to offer: 1. 7pm is the rendezvous, not departing time - lots of families incl. mine arrived half an hour too soon, but was told they assemble at 7. In the end some arrived at 7.30 and we ended up waiting for... More

Had an awesome time. The guide was great in positioning us for the best views of the bats and pointing out interesting details

I can't begin to explain how amazing this trip was! It was a slowly leisurely paddle of about 25 minutes from the put in about a mile and a half downstream up to the Congress Avenue bats. In past years we've stayed over the railing and a 100° Texas heat jostling for cramped space with everyone else to watch the... More
