Great time and great tour guide. He made you feel comfortable using the Segway before heading out. There were no problems...and this is come from a first timer with 0 experience. Lots of fun and you get to see parts of the city that are not accessible by car.

If you plan a segway tour, do it early in your trip. Our first night was canceled (thunderstorms) & fortunately we had plenty of time during our week to re-schedule. We did the Ultimate City & Bat tour. It was a small group so they did customize a little for us. What we saw was interesting but we got a... More

Had a blast on the Austin Segway tour. Our guide couldn't have been nicer, from Hawaii, the weather wasn't the best, very cold, but it didn't matter. We smiled the entire hour and a half. Learned about Austin, and even some Austin hidden secrets! Would definitely recommend this.

If you haven't been on a Segway yet, DO IT! It's so fun. But beware: You'll want one. We woke up late, so I was worried we wouldn't make it to the training. We made it in the nick of time. It took us a while to find the place. Luckily, we had a small group. We did the 2.5... More

We did the 1.5 hour Segway Cruise. Pros: riding a Segway is cool, the area around the Capitol building is nice for riding a Segway, and the guy behind the desk at the Lavaca St location was super nice. Cons: it was often hard to hear our guide. He often went too fast, perhaps because the other party in our... More

For a great experience, I highly recommend SegCity on Lavaca Street. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They took time to ensure we were well trained on the safe operation of a Segway. The tour was terrific and a load of fun. We did the 1.5 hour version but wished we selected the 2.5 hour tour. Go for it!

Myself and Dave did a 1.5 hour tour of the Capitol area. Since it was just the two of us and since we were doing a great job of handling the Segway Henry took us through some new pathways for even great experience of some of the statues and memorials at the Capitol. Henry was also super helpful in taking... More

It was my second segway experience and 1st for my boyfriend. We loved it very much going through downtown Austin to learn about city of Austin. The guide was excellent. We will come back and try again!

Very professional. Starts with a short lesson of how to go and stop and to hold still. Then you head down a hill to the beautiful capital building of Texas. The guide starts you out slow to see how everyone on the tour is getting the hang on handling the segway. There is one stop where you get off in... More
