Considering the Paramount is 100 years old it's in pretty good shape. You can park about a block away for only $6 & the money goes to the theatre which is great. The parking garage is in an office building but I can't remember the name. We were up in the balcony but the seats were fine for listening to... More

The Paramount is a great historic venue in downtown Austin. The show was hilarious and great fun! My only advice is if you are in the high balconies, be aware the stairs are narrow.

A nice venue for live music, shows or film. Well located in downtown Austin, yet the parking is definitely less than desirable; sometimes others blocking the only entrance to the parking availability...

The Paramount is a really well maintained vintage theater, and we have attended multiple shows there. Comedians, musicians, and feature films are our favorites. We have seen Craig Ferguson, a sci-fi double feature. The funds from ticket and bar sales go to sustain the organization that runs the theater, and it is well worth it. The location is an easy... We visited Paramount Theatre for the first time on 12/31/13, New Year's Eve, to see Bob Schneider. The Paramount is absolutely beautiful. The sound was amazing inside. It was a great experience. If you have a chance to go to a show at Paramount Theatre, go!

We rang in 2014 at Bob Schneider's concert at the Paramount Theater. The theater was a little hard for my husband to navigate due to his difficulty walking (uses a cane); and, we were in the balcony (ushers very attentive though). But, the theater is historic and beautiful. And, it is on the most festive street in Austin during the... More

I attended two screenings for the film festival here and loved the architecture. Balcony seating was superb, no bobbing over heads, and it has a sense of history, the indoor carpeting is red and the concession stand is polished wood. Lovely.

We went to see Aimee Mann at the Paramount.. Being raised in Austin, I'd only been there once before. I love the venue.. it's smaller, cozy, and there's really not a bad seat in the house. I will say however, the AC wasn't working so well. .all those people and it was Quite hot. Nice bar, and folks were very... More

I happened to have some time to kill in Austin on the day that they were showing Mr. Smith Goes to Washington in the classic film series. Im so glad for that, because I can't imagine a better place to watch a classic piece of cinema. The tickets and concessions were super inexpensive, and the ushers greeting you at the... More

My husband and I serendipitously walked by the Paramount while visiting downtown Austin. I saw notices for some familiar classic movies and stopped at the box office for info. There were showing that evening a double feature of two film noir classics in their Summer Film Classics. We had such a nice evening among like-minded movie goers who also enjoy... More
