We were in town visiting our grandson and great grandson (two years old) and had some time to kill so we went to the zoo. I was pleased with the admission price, the presentation of the wildlife, and our time spent. There were not very many people there while we were visiting so we were able to take a lot... More

This is a small zoo but it is kept nice and neat. The animals are cared for and it shows. The kid's loved going because it is not an enormous zoo that takes all day to go through.

Perfect size zoo! Only took an hour or two to lea surly stroll around the grounds. Monday you get in free. Plenty of different animals but not an overwhelming zoo that takes all day to see. Easy to get to and free parking. Small play area inside for small kids to take a break. Plenty of shade and benches to... More

Felt bad seeing the lions & tigers in such a small enclosure. Wish they'd expand. Male lion definitely put on a great show of voicing his opinion for food at feeding time. FREE on Mondays.

My wife and grandkids visited recently and I saw a real improvement in this zoo from our last visit, about a year ealier. The zoo has really come a long way and we spent over twice as much time there as our last visit. It's still a small zoo and more suited for younger children but it's a perfect day... More

The zoo is small but it has great enclosures and fun animals. They always have events here that are fun to participate in. The new herpetarium is very nice and provides a place to cool off in the summer. The playground could use a few more benches around it, as when we are done walking around my daughter likes to... We were surprised how small the zoo is (mostly a circle loop), but we really enjoyed it. Several animals that are not common in other zoos. Our daughter also loved the playground area. I enjoyed the view, and the cattle grazing.

It's a good small town zoo. There some wonderful enclosures and you can get closer to some of the animals that you can at bigger zoos. You can defiantly see where the zoos has been recently upgraded as well as where they are currently upgrading. It's $4 bucks to get in and plan for 30-60 minutes. There are lots of... More

It took about 45 minutes to see everything. Very small zoo. And a lot of common animals you see along the road like a raccoon, coyote, goats, hoarse, longhorns, etc. I will say the Lions and Tigers were cool. Never been that close to them before. Definitely will take my niece their. And its very cheap.

The zoo is SMALL, so do not expect anything large like you would see in OKC or Dallas. My husband and I took our one year old here for his first visit to a zoo. It was the perfect size for a toddler. The exhibits were clean, the animals seemed happy. I really enjoyed the tiger and lion exhibit, you... More
