The family friendly atmosphere gives you the feeling of stepped back in time. Tascosa plays two first run movies for one low price. We traveled to Amarillo for no particular reason, just a weekend outing along Route 66. Prior to leaving for the trip, I read that there was a drive-in movie theater there. I knew we would be going to that, regardless of what was playing. I don't even recall the last time I was at a drive in. Thirty-five years ago... More

What a neat experience in this day and age. Good to see a classic throwback like this. Wish we had one near my home.

The price to go see two top movies is cheap. There are bathrooms and a snack bar if you get hungry. In the front where the Theatre is, there is a play ground for the kids to have fun before the movie starts.

Had been looking forward to visiting this place when planning our Route 66 trip and wasn't disappointed. As it was digital the screen display was excellent quality. Recommended.

It has the typical features of any drive-in: obnoxious commercials advertising "the most delicious coffee you'll ever drink!" (REALLY!?), bathrooms from the 1950's....even a playground below the screen for those who wish to take their children. It's fun, and actually, their popcorn pricing isn't THAT terrible either!

I had never been to a drive-in before, so I was really excited about going to the show during our 1-night stay in Amarillo. It's a value given that you get a double feature, plus you can bring in all of your own food and drinks. We only wanted to stay for the first movie anyway, but it still felt... More

Came on last minute trip to Amarillo. Got to the drive in before dark. It was 10 dollar Tuesday. They also have a little play ground so the kids can play before dark. The concessions are decently priced. The whole experience for us was only 20 dollars including the concessions. Enjoyed two movies for less than the price of one.... More

Nice private place to go and watch two movies for the price of one. They do have a concession stand but we just bought a pizza and some cokes and brought our lounge chairs and sat in the back of my truck and enjoyed our datenight under the the beautiful Texas skies

Love the pricing, how often do you get two movies for the price of one? The freedom (read opportunity) to take in your own snacks and drinks (nothing alcoholic!) is a great perk. The bathroom facilities are all that's keeping this kind of activity from an excellent.

We love going to the Drive-In and always go several times a year. You can't beat the price. We always take lawn chairs and sit out side with the back hatch open on the suv. Love Love it!!!
