A lot of cultural history of the Marshall Islands. Good displays on the navigation that was used historically. Has a small gift area in the front office. Several interesting books and maps. The lib ray is upstairs and has a limited selection but also some interesting books of reference. Nice to get out of the heat.

Good try to save something of the tradition and history of the Marshall-Islands. The only place where you get an idea of the former and lost capabilities of the Marshallese people, that surrendered to American Junk.

Lots to see and read and great air conditioning! If you are interested in the culture of the Marshall Islands it may take several visits of browsing the rooms to get it all.

However, the exhibits are quite well done and this is a clean, respectable setting, not a a dusty, shabby place. Dscriptions are in English and Marshallese and are printed in large, easy-to-read text, unlike many... More

There is not a lot to do on the Island of Majuro. If youre looking for something to spend sometime and understand the culture, this is a definite insight. The museum is very small, basically one medium sized room. There are displays on geology, geography, people and their culture. I felt like I learned a decent amount about the migration... More
