It's an easy five stars if this is what you're looking for. It is not something overly grand, but it is something relaxing to do. It is also very refreshing if you need a peaceful getaway. I would recommend this to anyone needing to 'get away' or just do something different from their usual. I would not recommend singles or... More

We were visiting from out of town and some friends had a Groupon for this. We had so much fun on the 1 1/2 hour trip that we booked the 4 hour kid adventure trip.

We're happy you and the kids had a fun time. THANK YOU for all your positive comments. The Kids Adventure Cruise is built just for that: kids! FOR ADULTS who want a quieter experience, please join our Sunset Cruise or Nature Cruise. The SUNSET Cruise is designed to be a relaxing, romantic 2-1/4 hour cruise watching the skies and listening... More

Took our 7 granddaughters , ages 3 1/2 to 15, last week for the three hour kids adventure cruise. It was a wonderful experience for them. Captain Jim was very low key and friendly. They were able to ride the kayaks, swim, hunt for seashells and arrowheads. He gave them nets to use and keep, as well as they kept... More

Cute! What a great description of the Kids Adventure Cruise! (For other readers, this is only one of SEVEN cruises we offer, and the only cruise that is this activity-centered.) Now that the Kids Adventure Cruise is available only as a PRIVATE cruise, it's even better. Everyone on board knows each other, it's a compatible group, and the children are... More

We were a group of ten adults and ten kids and everyone had a great time. The cruise was beautiful and Captain Jim had plenty for kids of all ages to do--kayaking, find the arrowhead and shell searches, squirt guns. Snacks were provided. We would recommend this for anyone with kids. Thank you Captain Jim.

Thanks for your review. We are delighted that everyone had a great time! This is one of SEVEN different cruises we offer, so that we have something for everyone. The Nature Cruise is a good fit for all ages, with the emphasis on watching the wild birds (rather than having the kids go wild). The Sunset Cruise is designed specifically... More

We enjoyed the scenic cruise. It was great weather, and good company. We enjoyed the binoculars and the fun toys for the kids. I can't wait to go again.

Slow, scenic ride down the Cumberland River in beautiful Cheatham County. Nice escape into the countryside less than a half hour drive Northwest of Nashville. Sunset cruises are lovely and the kids cruises are fun and safe for young children. There are squirt toys and games for the kids plus soft drinks, water and snacks included. There is a restroom... If you have children, the cruise is fun and geared towards them. If not, be warned. There are toys all around for the children to play with and the Captain gave them balloons to blow up (both the large bouncing kind and the kind to make balloon swords and hats out of). I'm 22 and have little tolerance for children... More

Thank you for your comments. We will use them to improve our cruises. We do appreciate well-behaved children and parents who monitor their children's behavior so it doesn't bother others. Naturally, we want to know about any problems while the cruise is still happening so that we can improve your experience. Since daytime cruises do typically have families and children... More

Thanks for the compliment on our prices. Everybody likes a good value for their money. We want to keep our cruises affordable, especially since we have HUNDREDS of adult and senior adult passengers. Adult groups (from churches, seniors centers, independent living and assisted living) fill dozens of our Nature Cruises. And next time you come, you might want to try... More

We recently went on a cruise. My 8 year old and I both really enjoyed ourselves. He said it was one of the best days this year! The captain is really nice. He puts out drinks and chips for free. He also provides toys for the kids. They all had squirt toys and all left looking like they had jumped... More

Thanks for the compliments. We're really glad you and your son enjoyed the cruise and the local scenery. We have yet to have a cruise where we do NOT see a Great Blue Heron. It all depends on the time of year. In summer and fall, after the nesting season, we've seen over 20 Herons on a single cruise! That's... More

We have participated in multiple Blue Heron Cruises with the kids, & one of them was geared toward the kids. We always feel welcome in a warm & relaxed atmosphere. Great scenery & wildlife along the Cumberland River.

So glad you have enjoyed your various cruises with us. You're right, the scenery is terrific, all natural. We're happy to be in a beautiful rural area, yet close to lots of Nashvillians & their visitors. Thank you for your kind comments! More
