We accompanied a family with twin two-year-old daughters and a four year old daughter, and they loved the facility.

We had the honor this past weekend of hosting our family reunion at Storybook Land. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we still had alot of fun! During the day we were able to stroll through the land of the nursery rhymes, visit several animals and ride the train. Later in the evening we were able to ride the... More

Truly a hidden gem hidden in NE South Dakota. Every story that you read growing up comes a live from Hickory Dickory Dock to Ol Mother Hubbard and more. The park finishes in the Land of Oz with. Real yellow brick road. L Frank Baum lived in Aberdeen and many characters are based off historical events or people. It also... More

This is a great place to take kids, and best of all, most of the attractions are free. There is a petting zoo, many paths to walk, play ground equipment, ducks to feed, and different buildings and sculptures as well. As named, it has a storybook theme. For a fee, there are rides like a merry-go-round that kids can go... More

We have lived in Aberdeen for 50 years and have watched the development of this incredible park and amusement center. It is the first destination that we always take our visitors to see. Please don't miss Storybook Land even if you don't have any kids along with you. It's free!!!!

If in the area for a day or a weekend this is a must see, the park is free and is a great place for families. Storybook Land is a nursery rhyme fantasy playground with the Land of Oz, Old MacDonald's Barn with live animals, trails, playgrounds, medieval castle, small amusement rides, Storybook Land Pony Express miniature train rides and... Our little ones have been here several times and love it each time! You can easily spend 2+ hours here simply walking around; the adjacent park is nice as well.

This is a must see, especially if you have small children, when in or near Aberdeen. ~ This park was started several years ago and they are constantly adding new features to it. ~ We enjoy just walking around in there even though our grandchildren are older now, it is fun to check out! ~ The castle has been used... Become a part of favorite fairy tales and children's stories! More than your typical playground, this park is free to enter - and only a few rides require a ticket. You can spend hours here and not spend a dime. And the kids will love it! Climbing, sliding, following paths to the next adventure. One of the best parks we've... More
