We visited the area in March and had a chance to walk through Hopeland Gardens. It was beautiful and my children loved walking thorough and taking in the scenery. We took tons of pictures and told everyone we know about it and told them if they are in the area to definitely check it out.

When in Aiken, strolling through Hopelands Gardens is a must. The koi fish and turtles are always fun to watch, the walking paths are very nice, and the Racing Hall of Fame added a nice historical touch. The beautiful amphitheater was a nice place to sit and rest for a few minutes before wandering through the rest of the garden.... More

When visiting Aiken, a stop by Hopeland Gardens is in order if you'd like to stroll along a beautiful walkway. The gardens have many interesting views and is very pleasant at any time of year. Popular spot for weddings and photos. Outdoor concerts at select times and a must see during the Christmas season.

A lovely place to stroll near - or rather - in town. You don't feel as if you're as close to "civilization" as you are, and I always felt safe. There's a lagoon populated with curious turtles who kept popping up to see if we might have treats for them. You can also walk by or include the Racing Museum... More

A beautiful estate with wonderful walking paths, a serene lake and an interesting walking maze. A late afternoon stroll and a leisurely visit to the Racing Hall of Fame on the grounds was both calming and a learning experience. We saw families, coupled and individuals taking advantage of this beautiful Aiken treasure.

Hopelands Gardens is beautiful, no matter what season you decide to go. The paths are easy walking, the trees and plants so well maintained. In winter the light display is fabulous. Summertime concerts are fun and relaxing! Bring a chair and beverage. Bring visitors, too.

I always enjoy strolling through Hopelands Gardens. The park is beautifully maintained; there's always something seasonal in bloom, and well-placed benches if you want to sit and just enjoy the view. The summer evening concerts are a treat, but for something really special, visit in late December when the Christmas light displays are up. Truly a magical scene!
