This a a beautifully maintained garden with stables, doll cottage and small amphitheater. Great for weddings, romantic walks, family picnics. Turtles, koi fish and ducks are fun for kids to feed and observe. The city holds Monday night entertainment at the theater so families flock in with blankets and a picnic dinner. Beautiful Christmas lights throughout the gardens in December and a dollhouse and a house that was set up for touring. Free hot chocolate and cookies.

To walk under the Live Oaks that line the walkways is truly an incredible experience. This park is well maintained and offers beauty and solitude while giving you a glance into the past and foresight of it owners.

I visited there in the early spring so nothing was blooming yet. The friends that were with me had great memories of this place when they visited as children.

My husband and I did an inmpromptu visit to this garden given that we didn't really know what else to do in Aiken when we visited. We were glad that we did though! We took a nice stroll and took a lot of pictures along the way. There were a couple of professional photographers and people preparing a wedding ceremony... More

The gardens a wonderful southern stroll in any season. You can find a nice place for a picnic, a private place for a romantic moment, and even let the kids run under the live oaks. By far the best time to visit is when the City of Aiken spongers Christmas lights that make the gardens magical in the evening. Summer... More

The Christmas lights were beautiful & the small homes had lots of history. The grandkids enjoyed the arts & crafts as colored and ate cookies with Mrs Santa. I enjoyed the artwork and... More
