One of the most family oriented attractions in Aiken. Very quiet and tranquil with nature surrounding you in what was orginally an estate in horse country Aiken. Restful and beautiful and the City takes great pride in showcasing the park.

Beautiful garden stroll along brick pathways. Exquisite southern live oaks, several interesting structures, free concerts on Monday evenings in the summer, lovely meditation labyrinth, horse racing museum. Great place to relax or a great place to let kids explore and see giant koi fish, turtles, and ducks in the ponds. Free with plenty of parking, nice clean restrooms, accessible to... More

Beautiful place, great for walks, nearby. This is an area with wonderful huge old trees, especially the oaks, and really appreciated on a sunny day.

A beautiful place, a great place to have a wedding or family reunion. Perfect natural settings in the middle of the city without the city sounds. You get lost in the beauty. Go during Christmas and see the holiday light displays.

Especially when the weather is cooler this is a wonderful garden to walk and even have a picnic. Even feed the ducks and fish. The gardens are relaxing and peaceful

Every Monday evening from May to August the City of Aikens Recreation department has performers on stage to entertain! Great! Can't wait till next year!

Hopeland's has gotten better and better over the years. Very quiet, serene, and simple. A nice getaway from the urban rush. (August rush maybe, but never in Aiken!). Visit at Christmas! The lights are magical and the City has it well organized.

Took an afternoon stroll through these lovely gardens. The place is very peaceful and pleasing to look at. If you do decide to visit take a drive on the streets around the gardens that are lined with beautiful homes.

The Gardens (which are on Dupree Pl., not "Dupress") are a nice interlude and do not pretend to be more than they are. Beautifully shaded and wooded (lots of live oaks, cypress and deodar cedars, among others), they have walking paths, the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame, the Doll House, and a labyrinth--not the hedge kind, but a path on... This is a nice quite place to go for a quick picnic. It looks like it was an old plantation home and there are gold fish ponds where the foundation was. Big beautiful trees and a nice pond with turtles.
