My husband and I took our son there this past week-end. It is an old park but still fun. It is very clean and the staff was friendly. Very family oriented. not a big place and older children(tweens and teen agers) probably would not enjoy it too much. Over all, just a nice place for a day of fun.

My husband and I visited this park with our almost 3 year old at the end of July. I thought that it might be crowded, being a $5 day, but it wasn't. There was no wait times on the kiddie rides. She could ride as many times as she liked. Husband took her on Leap the Dips and she enjoyed... More

On Wednesday through Friday, the park is only five bucks. What an incredible value for smaller children! I have taken kids from ages 1- 11 to the park and we all have a great time. The water park and slides are included in the price. Love it! This park does have some large rides but my bore teenagers or ultimate... More

Nothing like an old wooden roller coaster and not one but two. Make sure you hold on during your ride on Skyliner....pretty wicked for such an old coaster!

WARNING-- The oldest roller coaster, LEAP the DIPS, built in 1909, is poorly maintained and VERY dangerous. I assumed rides must be safe but this is incorrect. Both my child and I got our backs hurt when flying at least 3-5" off the hard seat with no restraints and SLAMMING down at what looked like deep wells, over and over... More

What a very clean and beautiful park! The rides are older and there isn't a great variety, but in today's economy how can you afford to update and compete. You can tell the owners take care of what they have and that is something rare to find. It needs to be appreciated for what it is, which for younger children... More

We had a family reunion here. The picnic area was fine but the rides are just in sad need of repair. I have major safety concerns with this park. There is mega rust on the rides at which I was very nervous with my kids riding. I let my 9 year old ride the go cart which caught on fire... More

We visited this historic amusement park on a Saturday. As the admission was $10 a person instead of the $5 charged Wed-Fri, the place was nearly empty. No queues for the rides. The kids could just stay on for another go if they were enjoying it. The modest, dated water park had a few dozen families, despite the perfect summer... More

We went to Lakemont park yesterday. We were a little apprehensive because of the negative reviews, but we figured for $5 a person to give it a shot. I am very glad we did. The park is old no doubt, but we found it to be very clean and maintained. They had fresh, beautiful landscaping and some great old fashioned... More

Slipped in before the ball game and took a ride on the wooden roller coaster and a few other rides. They had a "dollar days" event while I was there. Admission: 5 dollars for the whole day. Putt putt golf, rides, go-karts, you name it. The place was well kept and clean. I had a blast. Haven't been to this... More
