As amusement parks go this is a relatively small one and it is built on a hill so unless you are a meticulous planner you will most likely be walking up hills all day. As for rides you are most likely to get your money worth if your children are over 48 inches and have no fear. Food is, of... More

Theme parks are somewhat predictable- crowds, expensive food/ drinks and long lines. Dorney is one of those places too. But to be fair, we were lucky. We arrived on a day that it stayed open late and had a Halloween themed evening to break up the evening. We rode every coaster that was open( only one was closed) and were... More

During the summer, Dorney Park is a great place to go. There are many different rides and coasters. There is also a kids section for anyone who is going with kids. The only problem is that food and drinks are really expensive. I would definetly bring water with you on your visit. Also during the fall season, Haunt takes place.... More

I enjoy going to this amusement park! The only problem I have is how expensive food/drink are! $4.00 for a bottle of water?! Outrageous! If you're going to the park, I'd recommend taking a backpack with a small cooler tucked away inside. You can rent a locker to store it in.

There is no lines for the ride. You can get on one right after another. Beautiful weather today. Food is a little overpriced, but it is at every park. Will come back here again next September for sure

Where to begin...the Haunt touts a frightful experience for all ages and groups. That is very true for a gaggle of 11 year olds. If you go with less than ten people you are forced in with larger groups ruining the majority of the "scary" attractions. The wait times are maddening to say the very least. Last attraction we entered... More

Dorney has some really fun rides for those of all ages... Just keep you personal items close. They don't allow you to take your purse/ backpack on the rides and there are LOADS of thieves in the park. There are stories every year about it. Lock belongings in a locker or leave them home!

We just returned from a trip to Pennsylvania. We went to Dorney Park and had a great time. There are many roller coasters and fun rides. The Dinosaur park was a great walk. I would suggest planning your trip there the week of Allentown Fair. We did and there were no lines for the rides. The longest we had to... More

My daughter and I drive over 2 hours and stay for 2 days. Opening night, stay over and go back to the park the next day. We've been attending opening night (Zombie Invasion) every year since 2011. 2011 & 2012 were very exciting. They have costume contest, brain eating contests, and one year had AMC's Walking Dead zombie's there. This... More
