This is a good place to visit for anyone who is homesick of Germany, or just wants to get a glimpse of it. It would have been nice if there were more real stores open, and not just souvenir and nicknack shops. But at least the atmosphere is nice ... and the beer in the restaurant is good.

Only a few shops, but such a fun place to walk with the dogs and then grab lunch at the restaurant in the village! Great place to eat.

We've ben to Stoudtburg Village several times in the past few years. The place is a great concept that has been slow to catch on. The shoppes come and go but there are a few that have endured. It would actually be an interesting place to live, kinda set back in its own little world but right next to the... More

If you go to see the quaint Bavarian architecture and visit a few shops, it's a nice stop. However, at this time there are not too many shops to visit.

We stayed in the village and we so looked forward to seeing the small shops in the village. Non were open except the bar. We walked around and were warmly welcomed by the residents, but no shops were open. Maybe we visited at the wrong time...I would so love to see a committee set up to make this place come... More

We visited on Saturday and it was VERY deserted....we don't shop on Sunday and that is when they have their big event near by at the Stoudtburg shops.

Our trip to Stoudtburg was okay. Online, it seems very picturesque and reminiscent of Germany, and they certainly pay homage to the country. However, the shops are actually located on the first floor of some homes in a small community. Not every home has a shop, so you have to be careful to look for the flags and make sure... More

Stoudtburg Village is a very cute, nice place but don't expect too much. We visited this place in September, and although I really like the concept of this place, it was pretty much like a dead town. Several nice little stores, but otherwise it's not that attractive. Perhaps it'd be worth to visit this place when there's a festival going... More

Great appearance but a pain to park, and rarely are many of the shops open. If you are at Black Angus it is only a short walk over. Sometimes they have festivals and they would be worth a stop.
