I live in Phoenix and have visited the library there and in Ashland. Both libraries have that small town feel to them....I was going to a writers' group in Ashland but haven't been back in a while as I'm focusing more on other arts and crafts.

I love this library, and I have been to many. My only complaint is I wish they were open on Fridays, which is not their fault. Budget cuts. The library is connected to the Jackson County system and transferring materials from another branch is a breeze. The staff is very friendly and will guide you through new ways to access... More

The Ashland Public Library has comfy chairs, great views of the surrounding hills, free wifi, magazines a great selection of books and a wonderful children's library program. The building is beautiful and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. A great place to visit when in Ashland.

As a tourist this would be a good and relaxing stop to catch up on reading for a few minutes after shopping or as a break. Its restored and approachable sitting on the edge of the shopping district.

Drop dead gorgeous library. I am considering moving to Ashland, the library is beautiful, open beams, lots of large windows with window seats, over the top helpful with resource information.

I am a big fan of the Ashland Library. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Although the selection is not huge you can almost get what you need through Interlibrary Loan of jackson county and have it sent to the Ashland Library. Also a variety of books to download onto your iPad free of charge to borrow.

We have used Ashland's library for a number of years. They were a wifi hot spot years before a number of businesses caught on. The staff is helpful but you have to be careful as the hours and even days of the week aren't a guarantee they will be open.

It's a friendly place, and you are welcomed even if you don't have a library card. I'm not a resident but I am in Ashland a few times a year for several days at a time. I have my computer with me but don't want to carry it around town with me. Often I just want to go someplace to... More

This a wonderful, clean, lovely library with a great kids section. You'll want to hang out and browse books there with your kids for hours. Very nice people working there as well.
