A gem We expected that our grandchildren would love this museum, since we were at a similar museum (Science Factory) in Lancaster, PA. The ScienceWorks exceeded all expectations. There are a lot of interesting interactive exhibits and guided activities. Kids were so excited that they returned to most galleries several times. We planned to spend around 3 hours there, but... We enjoyed going to the ScienceHands On Museum in Ashland. The children enjoyed it the most with all the fun things to do. There are both permanent and new attractions, so each time one visits, one can find new things to explore and/or play with.

We had a free morning with our grandson, so decided to check this place out. All of us had a blast! A smaller version of Portland's OMSI (but without the crowds), this place includes hands-on interactive exhibits that can hold the interest of children and adults alike. We especially enjoyed the optical illusion gallery, and the pulley chairs.

Although we are local, we can always find a fresh experience here... that's why our family has a membership. We visit Science Works at least once a month and always have a good time. We can spend a half an hour or put to 3 hours! They have great special events and holidays too!

We went there with our daughters class while on a class trip. Every kid that went had a great time. There was plenty to do and explore. This was a great stop on our itinerary and we hope to come back next time we are in the area. It was just as fun as we remembered it when we visited... More

Lots of hands on exhibits aimed at explaining science to younger people -- always something new -- that's why grandparents take their grandchildren on every visit it Ashland. Always something to see anytime of year.

Best hands-on museum I have ever visited. Earlier in the year, my whole family from 4 year old to 75 year old enjoyed the variety of activities & exhibits. We spend the whole day.

Thank Ruth B
