We go here a lot in the summer and really cold days in winter. Recently we had a heat wave, and enjoyed their AC while playing and enjoying all the exhibits. Nice staff and lots of fun. They do a great job of changing up the exhibits to keep it interesting. We buy the year pass as it's not all... More

Science Works is a great place to spend an afternoon. A great hands-on science museum just like you'd find in a big city--but without the crowds and hassle. Perfect for a break from the summer heat or winter rains.

We had some time to kill in Ashland and wanted to find something for our 1 and 2-year old daughters to do. We heard about the museum so we thought we'd check it out. It was a great experience. We weren't sure if there would be enough to do to make it worth the money at their age, but they... More

Visited the Science Works for the first time to celebrate my son's birthday. Had a great time. Expected more activities for the price paid. Have visited other children's museums for less money with a lot more activities. They also seamed to be between a lot of exhibits at the same time.

This is a small but great science museum for young people to explore and get creative with. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with children. Even has a nice picnic table area in front for a full afternoon of educational fun.

Such a fun place for adults and kids. We loved the dinosaurs, bubble room and light exhibit! Everything was very fun and educational! I definitely recommend!

One of our favorite stops in Ashland; very participatory and hands-on, even for grownups. Can be rather noisy when it's full of school groups.

My child loved it; we spent the whole day! Exhibits are great; especially the dinosaurs...although they look and sound so real, they can be a little scary for kids. Be careful with bubbles in bubble room as soap stings kids eyes when they get on hands and don't wash off. The climbing play structure outside was a total hit. Bring... More

This is hands down among the best children's museums in Northern California/Oregon. I loved the hands on and the dark room (strobes light.) The bubble room, as at any museum, was a huge hit! Their bubble mix was perfect! The dinosaur exhibit was amazing. Lots of hands on, plan to spend at least a few hours.

I took two 3 year olds for an adventure at Scienceworks, and we had a great time. It was busy with many patrons but we could always find space to explore something or play. Special area for younger children to play and safe. Many, many hands on things to do.
