We enjoyed our drive up to Mount Ashland. It's a good antidote to the Ashland tourists and play goers. Being from the Northwest, we have seen many spectacular mountains, and this is not the most awesome but beautiful nonetheless and a nice thing to do if you want to get out of town for an afternoon or a day.

Mt Ashland isn't the best, but it's atleast a place to ski. If there isn't a lot of snow fall be careful not to hit gravel that you would think there would be snow. All kinds of skiiers, bad and good, be careful of the out of control bad skiiers. Steep slopes are common here.

There in summer for some light hiking. Perfect weather, great views, easy or tough terrain. Very few other people there. Will go back the next time I'm in the area.

I am a 16 year old extreme adventuring boy, who was born in Medford, Oregon. Last year I received a season pass from my parents for Mount Ashland. This was probably the best Christmas gift my parents could have given me. I used this gift as much as possible, and use to love the sight of the sparkling white snow....
