My son and I took a guided tour of Southern Oregon University over Spring Break and came away with a good impression overall. “Very good school to tour and everybody was friendly”

I have taken many students on tours of colleges for my job and this was one of the best visits! The tour itself was good with friendly and knowledgeable student guides, but the best part was the attitudes from everybody on campus. A small town University full of great and friendly people. If you want a safe place to go to college in one of the most beautiful places on earth this is the place. More

SOU is a treasure. They have one of the very best theater programs in the West. A prof here started the Shakespeare Festival in 1935, and their are still lots of ties. Very strong nursing, business, computer, music, English, environmental programs to name just a few. Really nice campus, caring teachers and administration.
