While the "new" Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom no longer contains an amusement park, I can honestly say that the existing waterpark portion is absolutely wonderful! The attractions are new (built in 2005), big and fun! Check out the tornado slide called Liquid Lightning -- it's crazy! And, don't miss Thunderfalls, which has huge tube and body slides popping out... more

A group of 10 of us visited here on August 9, 2009. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and the hottest day of the summer so far. Many people had the same idea in spending the day here. We arrived as the park opened and secured some lounge chairs by the wave. TIP #1: Spread your things out on the chair... more

I thought the park was very beautiful, very nice flowers and well kept grounds. The wait for the intertubes is HORRIBLE. They really need to come up with a better solution for the intertubes (you can rent, but that's how they get you). The food is WAY OVER PRICED!!! For one large pizza it's $26.00. One slice of pizza is... more

Great family day. Took 9 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son. Was a little hesitant about going on a Saturday for fear of the crowds. However, took advise from site and arrived about 30 minutes before the water park opened and parked at the water park gate. Attractions started at 11:00 am and we did not have any... more

My family was at the park on Aug 10, 2007 at we very disappointed. My 2 year old could only ride 2 rides and the other 3 kids rode the rest of the rides in less then 3 hours. Why this park stays open I don't know. My husband and I both agree it's nothing like it was when Sea... more

Went to the new Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom park in June and was pleasantly suprised. After following the construction on the website over the past 2 years and reading other reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to venture down there. I was glad we did. Here is the scoop on Geagua Lake.... Recommendation: This park is an excellent... more

The park strikes one as sad. Not really run down but a lot of the areas and rides are closed. The people who attend this venue are a bit like the park itself, a little seedy and down at the heals. The Cleveland area has been suffering some hard time, and it looks like it has extended out to Geauga... more
