Funny house feeling walking out on fishing pier, otherwise clean and staff friendly, plenty of parking. Easy to get to. Breezy even when not windy onshore.

These folks at the Avon Pier are Probably some of the nicest people you will ever meet. You will seriously want to just sit down and hang out with them once you get there! Any help you need or advice you are looking for just ask. Not to mention they have 1 Dollar PBR's....YES a BUCK! There isn't a place... More

Yes, it's beaten, wavey and worn but to walk out above the ocean and experience the schools of fish, many fishermen, kids w parents fishing or just enjoying the view, was worth much more than the $1 admission. It was a gloriously sunny day with a light breeze. We all enjoyed this simple pleasure...

It's only a $1.00 to "sight see" onto the pier. The pier is kind of wavy and cockeyed but takes you a good way out to the water or to just sit and watch people fish. The people who work at the pier are helpful and very nice. If you're in the area, it's well worth stopping in.

This was just purchased by the same owners as the resort spa on the adjacent piece of property. Well run, clean facilities and lots of fish!

The Avon Pier is a cool and quirky place to visit. It's worth $1 to walk out on a pier that's been damaged by hurricanes. I didn't go there to fish, but my dad and 14yo nephew did, and they had fun. They caught 5 fish in a couple of hours during the day, but the fish were too small... More

My wife have been here quite few times. The owner is nice and knowledgeable about the area and fishing. The most disappointing thing is see some worker cutting a barb off a baby stingray and throw it back (which is probably now shark bait now). So don't ruin such a good place.

The view is great......Maybe the latest hurricane damaged the pier or maybe it is always like that but walking out was a bit scary. The majority of it was crooked and slanted so much that a few of the members of our party had to walk back to the main store/gift shop and couldn't enjoy the pier. It seemed as... More
