now starting to restore some of them odd ones have no security doors and could be dangerous a nice walk from bodrum/gumbet but very steep hill
Interesting seeing them close up, but area full of garbage and some broken glass - not the most appealing site. View of the city was alright. Took some pics and that was about it.
There is not much to see here. The windmill does offer a few good snaps but well, we all know how a windmill works so nothing much to see except the scenic view from it. Plus the shards of glass around it make it a very unsafe area. Just go if you have time. No need to take out time... More
Having seen them from the hotel it was nice to see them close up, but the was a lot of litter and grafitti around which was a shame.
nice views to be had near the windmills and great place to take a few snaps. Very little information available on site about them. Be careful when walking around as there was a lot of broken glass and got the impression that this was where they local teens hung out after dark. Shame about the grafitti on some of the... More
Very pretty sat on the hill, they are old windmills what more can you say, but lovely views from there too. Dont make a special trip, but if you are passing worth a quick stop
Great vacation for me and my family. Loved it! Jasmine Apart was the perfect resort for us. Staff was awesome, so was food, resort and activities.
We found these by accident as we took a wrong turn trying to drive out of Bodrum centre! There's not much left of the windmills but they were nice to see and the views across Bodrum on one side and Bitez on the other are amazing. It was very windy up there so hold onto your hats! There's a little... More
The windmills are a bit pointless but go up just for the view. If you climb up the hill from the Gumbet side there is a private beach you can stop off at on the way which is fab for snorkeling. You can ride camels up there- as you might imagine it's a massive rip off! I wouldn't bother going... More
These windmills are in such a sad state of repair its just not worth the trouble going to see them. One windmill has been restored but you cannot go in it. If only they invested a bit of money into them they could quite easily be mmade into a money making venture.
