it was just next to our hotel. I like those windmills. Easily accessible. When you go to visit you have a view at the marina, the beach and the city. It takes your breath.

DEspite the heat of the midday sun,a climb/walk up to the windmills is a definate must do.It is a slog up to the top in all honesty, but an achievement if you can make it.You can see for miles and miles across the landscape. The windmills themselves that look tiny as you approach are absolutely beautiful to look at when you arrive... We visited the ruins and watched the sunset, the windmills have got lots of graffiti and the floor is covered in broken glass. However it had a rustic/slightly romantic feel to it and the views were very good, the summit is taller than the top of the castle in Bodrum. We walked from Bodrum marina, and it took about 25... The views are excellent but nothing to do with the windmills. Was outraged at the amount of broken glass, big shards of broken bottles, plastic bottles and litter discarded up there by all, don't blame the tourists all the time. If going to see just the windmills don't bother....Disgraceful.

It was such a shame to see the stake of the windmills. They are in need of some serious TLC. Most are covered in graffiti and not in a very good condition. The views are great though as you get a view of St Peter's castle on one side and Gumbet beach on the other. We could even see the... More

Drive up for the view, but the windmills are a sad thing...barely intact with grafitti...probably nice for the kids necking in nearby cars.

I was there many times because of amazing view over sea, other hills and the boat that cross the sea. You can eat a delicious breakfast or take en break with Turkish coffee or tea. I have no more to say , just be there to experience by yourself.

This is one of most beautiful and interesting place in Bodrum, but tourists are deteriorating this place. They spread garbage all over the place, which actually spoils the beauty of this place. These windmills are built with stone that are lined with wooden planks to catch the coastal winds. These windmills are now a days, neglected, due to less tourism... More

From here there is a wonderful vantage point on paver the city with the castle in the harbour area below. You can see beyond to the Black Island where we were advised no one is allowed to live, just visit. The windmills themselves are in various stages of ruin with some badly vandalised by graffiti which is a shame. There... More
