Accessed up a fairly steep road to the top. The windmills can be seen from the Salmakis Hotel. One has been renovated but the others are in different states of disrepair. Great view towards Bodrum and Gumbet and recommend you take your camera. Not much else to say. There are no eateries or bars on top of the hill but... More

From a look at the windmill in the shops or a look at the map I expected the windmills to be whole if not functional. They are far from whole except 1 that is fenced off. The views are stunning but watch your step as animals clearly have free rein on the hill.

Great photo spot. Visible harbours and Kos and several peninsulas and Kara island. Very beautiful with seascapes and landscapes. The windmills are redundant but were used to grind flour until ( I think) about 20 - 25 years ago. It can be a windy spot on the ridge of the hill.

Sitting like ruined sentinels along the top of a ridge overlooking Bodrum on one side and Gumbet on the other, the windmills themselves look very sad and rundown. It is such a shame to see such fine old workhorses in this state. The restoration of just one of these mills, and subsequent historical plaque of information, would go a long... More

it's a walk up the hill, but worth it just for the view over Gumbet and Bodrum Bay. Just a shame they haven't put any information boards etc to tell you about them
