Located right above the bus stop, you can visit this market every Friday. The local merchants are very nice and they let you try everything they have before you buy it. You can also haggle to push the price down.

They can get a bit grabby and manage to put brackets and charms on you and the children before you can even blink. A firm no and remove the item and put it back into their hands worked okay for us. The market starts early around 7.am and ends around 7pm on a Tuesday. If you go later in the day, you are more likely to get some bargains. Depending where your resort is, the Dolmus stops at the bus station and the Market is clearly signposted at the back, you walk up some stairs and the market is under cover... More

This market is held in Bodrum every Tuesday. It is fake paradise! You can buy everything here at a fraction of the price, but be prepared to haggle! Unfortunately, on the day we went it was 40 degrees, otherwise my bill would have been a lot higher!! Worth a look for sure....

Going to Bodrum Produce Market is great fun for bartering. If you see something you like ask the price then just barter away with them it is great fun and an excellent way of seeing how the locals do it.
