This is a very interesting experience. The market is on a Friday and the farmers bring their goods in from surrounding areas to sell their fruit and veg. This is not laid on for tourists. This is a slice of proper Turkey. There is some tourist stuff as well around the fringes. The "hassle" is nothing like you would get... More

The town centre is fabulous but you get hassled a lot by shop workers stopping you and almost dragging you in.If they let you browse at your own leisure it would be much more enjoyable.

Had a fantastic day out, so much to look at. If you want cheap clothes, bags, purses etc... Then this is the place.... All fake designer stuff, some good & bad copies. Never pay what they ask, always offer about 30% of the initial price.

Worth a trip just to sample the sights and smells. Unlike any market in the UK. And they love you trying things

Located right above the bus stop, you can visit this market every Friday. The local merchants are very nice and they let you try everything they have before you buy it. You can also haggle to push the price down.

Great experience if you like to barter, don't take it too seriously and enjoy the sights and smells. They can get a bit grabby and manage to put brackets and charms on you and the children before you can even blink. A firm no and remove the item and put it back into their hands worked okay for us. Still... More

The market starts early around 7.am and ends around 7pm on a Tuesday. If you go later in the day, you are more likely to get some bargains. Depending where your resort is, the Dolmus stops at the bus station and the Market is clearly signposted at the back, you walk up some stairs and the market is under cover... More
