This market is held in Bodrum every Tuesday. It is fake paradise! You can buy everything here at a fraction of the price, but be prepared to haggle! Unfortunately, on the day we went it was 40 degrees, otherwise my bill would have been a lot higher!! Worth a look for sure....

Going to Bodrum Produce Market is great fun for bartering. If you see something you like ask the price then just barter away with them it is great fun and an excellent way of seeing how the locals do it.

I really liked the shopping part in Bodrum. I went there on June 2013 with my cousin and we spend great vacations there. As we were two girls, we spent part of our holiday shopping. We went to different places, first we went to the souk went it was market day. If you go there you need to like to... More

If you want knock off handbags it's great. The rest was all overpriced and every time you asked about the price of anything they just start out at a massive price and want you to argue (sorry haggle) the price down. They have signs saying belts 1 Euro, but when you go to pay they say "ah, not this one,... More

The Friday market in Bodrum above the bus station is THE place for locals to shop for their weekly vegetables, fruits, cheese, olives, spices etc. Yes, people buy from the supermarkets but the best place to buy is still the local markets. Yes, like some of you have mentioned, if you are not careful or if you do not speak... More

Great products on offer, and a range of stores were haggling is the norm!! So make sure your good. Some charge you overpriced and force you to coome to their stalls, but others are okay. Shop around as some charge cheaper than others for same price

I was expecting fantastic prices but I'd say they are fair to moderate prices here. Most vendors accept Euros and I got three beautiful handmade items, spending around 53 Euros. I loved the experience of meeting Turkish business men and women, and even if I paid more than what I should have, it's worth the extra just to experience a... More

Held every Friday at the Dolmus bus station in Bodrum, excellent opportunity to sample before you buy. Olives, cheese, an array of every kind of vegetable, honey, spices etc.etc. You can buy a kilo of satsumas for next to nothing. The traders are very friendly and give you a chance to sample their wares. They will even vacuum pack your... More

A short but bumpy trip. The ferry was very comfortable, with seating like a large aeroplane. We arrived in Turkey having prepaid our visa which reduced the queue to a normal custom check before entering the harbour area. Our trip included a trip round the city taking us up to the old windmills overlooking the bay. An excellent guide provided... More
