This is not the most beautiful mosque I have ever visited but it has a very peaceful atmosphere and is worth visiting. It is very large and has attractive stained glass windows. By the doors shoes can be left and plastic bags are provided should you wish to carry them about with you. Ladies should wear a scarf.

t's a very big mosque with a very big yard, it's very peaceful and in the mosque you can see a lot of colours. There is a so big chandler in the middle of the mosque with some little chandlers around it. It was so beautiful .

This is a relatively new structure but it is massive and worth a quick look. It looks more impressive from the outside than inside.

It's not old. It's not the pinnacle of islamic architecture. But - it's very, very big. Wikipedia says 24000 can fit - I don't know what 24000 people look like, but when I went, walking barefoot on the carpet (I've since been told that's a no-no), there were only some children playing catch (and they were barefoot, too, so I... One of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen. Details everywhere. The chandelier at the center is breathtaking. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, and a wonderful place to eat as there are many restaurants.

This is one of the largest mosques in Turkey, a poor replica of Mimar Sinan' s mosques in Edirne and Istanbul. Visiting the place is total waste of time.

This is perhaps the largest mosque in Turkey, but quite uninspiring in terms of the architecture and the interiors. Considering that it is a relatively a new mosque, one has to compare it with the ones in Doha, Casablanca, Muscat and Abu Dhabi. It does not come even close. Young men were lying sprawled on the floor inside as if... More
