Although located on the University Campus in effectively a huge park and is therefore very quiet, this does not make up for the disappointment. Rooms are clean, but sparse and the shower has virtually no water coming out of it. The restaurant is cheap, but no selection. No laundry service available and very limited toiletries provided

Up diliman is the place to be when you just want to go out and enjoy nature. Go on Sundays and enjoy the oval with no worries about incoming traffic. There are food stalls open on sundays so you won't have to spend a lot. I'm planning to brig my baby here every Sunday when he grows up so I... More

The University of the Philippines in Diliman was my home for a few years. It is mostly green and is a huge campus. The roads are well managed and a whole section around the campus is only for bikers and joggers. Trees. Trees. So many trees. So much open space. Transportation around the campus is by jeepneys. Those marked "Ikot"... More

I was here to carry out a research project. The moment you enter the campus, you can see and smell the green. Huge campus but there are plenty of jeepneys to bring you to every part of it, though sometimes, you have to ride a long while before the jeepney reaches it as it picks up passengers everywhere as long... Vast campus, great for jogging or biking, nature feel...but be careful because no place on earth, even in school, is completely safe. Be vigilant. Visiting UP Diliman must be enjoyed though. (August 2012)

If you live in the Katipunan and Diliman area and want to spend a nice weekend afternoon just walking shady, cool paths under trees with a pleasant breeze to ruffle your hair, then head on over to the UP Diliman campus. The inner lanes that go around the academic oval are dedicated to pedestrian traffic and bicycles. There are paths... More
