School campus for scholars and inteliigent students. If you're planning to study in the Philippines, this is the best University but you need to pass a very rigid entrance exam. This is also the place where you can eat local food with the locals such as squid balls, fish balls, kwekwek, kikiam etc. You'll find them in food carts along... More

Situated on a 492 acre area in Quezon City, the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus offers an unexpected and refreshing respite from the hustle, bustle and heat of concrete jungle. The DIliman Campus is a haven for runners, bikers and people who jus want to have a whiff of fresh air in one of the remaining open spaces in... More

The biggest university in the country has now grown bigger by selling off some of its land to grow a "mall" - called UP Technohub and UP Town Center. So you have education and food places to bilge on. To summarize the system in UP: If you want to hire a person who can get things done, hire a graduate... More

UP, the Philippines' premier state university, is a bastion of higher learning in the Philippines and its Diliman campus is the flagship one. Of course, this Diliman campus is known for its Academic Oval, the Oblation, Ikot and Toki jeeps, the impressive buildings and the standard of education. Also to mention, the student activism in the campus (including the infamous... More

Number 1 university in the Philippines. You have to pass the UPCAT to be admitted as "Scholar ng Bayan". Tuition fee defends on the salary bracket of the parents or guardian. Very nice and huge campus with a lot of big Acacia trees that almost shade the entire oval. A lot of joggers from morning till night. Students don't need... More

The relatively new stalls around the oval still offer the variety offered before by the ambulant vendors and informal food stalls. Eating can now be more convenient whether that is a plate of pancit canton or pesto pasta.

aside from serving as a haven for the countries education, the wide campus has a lot of natural fresh air - courtesy of the ancient trees. Joggers, runners are welcome. There is clean filipino street food - cheap. There is also a photocopier, bookbinding and internet service. You just have to find it and learn how to commute on jeepneys.... More
