The Church of Santa Cruz is one of the Oldest in Metro Manila but if you see it now you would think it was just recently built. Its renovation was done in very poor taste. It lost its appeal when new bricks was plastered on its walls. It would have been better if they just gave it a fresh coat... More

This church is located in Manila. One of the old church that you can see with in this area. No vendors, church might not allow them to sell inside or with in the premises. It's actually in front of the entrance of China town. You will see some jeep here going to Pier. So if you want to visit Manila... More

This church is situated across China Town. Easy access using LRT 1 from Carriedo Station. It's clean and you will not find any vendors outside the church, however the only thing that you can see outside are the sampaguita ( flower ) vendors.

It is one of the oldest churches within Manila City. It has a newly renovated color, orange. Im quite disappointed with the color. The preservation bureau should study more on how to properly conserve and preserve.

What I like best here is the altar: a bleeding lamb, reminder of the love of God who offered His Son as the redeemer. The church itself is huge. It is also properly ventilated. The priests hear confessions most of the time.

There has been a church here since the 17th century but the original took a direct hit by a bomb in World War Two and was reduced to rubble. It was rebuilt in the 1950s in Spanish Baroque stye and they did an admirable job. It certainly does not look out of place in this historic neighbourhood, home to fountains,... More

Around the corner from the Carriedo LRT station, the Santa Cruz Church was quite magnificent. The building is a faded white, with a massive domed tower dominating the façade. The hectic streets outside are forgotten once you walk inside this big, peaceful building. The comfortable interior had decoration aplenty, with colourful stain-glass windows setting a nice scene. A magnificent church... More

one of my favorite churches in manila. amidst the horrible traffic around it, you can still find peace and quiet when your inside it. i love the lamb of God right infront of its altar. it is just amazing to look at.
