Whenever we visit Manila (we lived south of Manila), we make it a point to park by the reclaimed bay in order to view the 30 or so minutes spectacular Manila Bay sunset. For others they want to have a clear sky but what we experience may be the better one; a clear sky but with some clouds in the... More

I've stayed in many hotels by Manila Bay (The Diamond, G Hotel, Heritage, etc.). Manila Bay is nothing special. Get down to El Nido for a beautiful bay. The problem is that to see the bay you have to walk Roxas Blvd. This is a bit sketchy at night. Plus, it's dirty and wrought with homeless, I suppose, laying all... More

It was sunny during the day but in the afternoon when I took the Manila Bay cruise at 4:15p.m., it became cloudy and we failed to see the famous beautiful sunset of the bay. A boat personnel couldn't tell the best month to go to see the sunset. But my friends and I had fun taking pictures of each other... More

You can plan a stay along Roxas Boulevard so you can have a glance at the beautiful sunsets of Manila Bay. Its nice to walk by the bay near the breakwater and watch the sunset.

Watching this gave me a really sad experience about how quickly humans can destroy nature. A beautiful bay full of litters and rubbish floating, and locals tried to sell fake goods or tried to cheat me. Well, at least I gave it 2 star beacause the coconuts here were really, really good.

On October 14, 2014, at around 5 pm or so, I was walking up Roxas Blvd along Manila Bay, towards the ferris wheel. There were many people hanging around, some just lounging, some were fishing in the bay. I had just passed Aristocrats Restaurant when I was approached by 2 women, a chubby light-skinned Filipina with a round face, that... More

My favorite place in Manila. Spent every evening there, enjoying nice company of the locals and the beautiful sunsets. Walked it all along. Take a coconut, or some green mango, seat somewhere next to the sea, and relax.

Seeing the bay in daylight gave us a dose of ugly reality. The ocean was littered with floating garbage and it was depressing to see children swimming among such filth. There were also beggars picking up garbage, and sleeping on the sidewalks. Truly, two worlds occupy this strip: the poor on one side, and the wealthy who occupy the swanky, glittering... More

Manila bay and baywalk area tourist zone gives third world a bad name. I couldn't imagine any possible way I could honestly rate it more... Very gross
