The place is great, and I've been here since I was a little child. The place needs high maintenance and Mali the elephant should be put to a sanctuary. She is very lonely and sick... She is my favorite animal in the zoo so I think she needs to rest (not in peace) now...

It is not huge, but if you go on the right day, you can view all the animals practically by yourself. The price of admission is only 100 pesos. However there is a children's activity area with a petting zoo and photo taking places that would require additional costs once you are inside the main entrance. There are a lot... More

I am asking that the Manila zoo give Mali a BETTER, more appropriate home with other elephants! As a zoo, they do not provide the very basic of needs for an elephant.

This zoo should be closed down, the animals look miserable, Mali the elephant is in confinement and it brought tears to my eyes seeing such a sad animal. Boycott the zoo and set them free! Mali holds her own tail because she is so lonely... Do not go.

The images of the ill-treated, sad and lonely elephant named Mali will never leave my mind. Not only is Mali by herself in a poor environment she also is clearly very ill, depressed and stressed. I later found out that she was taken from her home environment while she was still nursing and has been in this zoo and disgusting... More

While I enjoyed the day with my fiance, I couldn't believe we were in a zoo! Where are the animals? Maybe they're around the next bend or over that way. Nope! oops tell a lie! There was a sleeping lion and we also saw an elephant and hippopotamus. There also was a monkey locked up in the distant cage. But... More

The animals here are miserable especially the elephant Mali. Mali is in obvious physical pain unable to stand on her left front foot. What is wrong with these "caretakers"?

Visited yesterday Manila Zoo with my family composed of 5 adults and 5 children. Find the zoo disappointing as nothing had changed since the first time me and my hubby visited this attraction. The changes to be noted were the increase in admission fee of P 100.00 for adults and P 60.00 for kids, the construction of longer and more... More
