This cost P100 to get in .You then pay another P100 pesos if you want to visit a section where you can have your photo holding a bid, snake or monkey. There are also other people selling photos at P100 pesos a time with similar animals. We enjoyed our walk around the small zoo and got to mingle with the local people. The zoo... I was simply appalled walking through this zoo. The place absolutely reeked upon entry. I don't know where the last reviewer visited, but this zoo is anything but neat and clean. Take a look at the pictures I posted and see for yourself if you would consider this place neat and clean. The animal enclosures for a lot of the... More

There were animals missing so I was a little disappointed after my last visit 5 years ago. There needs to be more thought about animal welfare and I am distrssed at the mental anguish of the lone elephant who walks in constant circles - a sure sign of distress. The place is clean and tidy and there are a few... More

The zoo is a nice park area to walk around, but the animals are in terrible shape. Many animals are just skin and bones and living just on cement. A lot of families strolling around. Hopefully someone will see the need to make sure these animals are better taken care of. It would be interesting to know who has authority... More

Visited the zoo along with my wife while we were in Manila and we enjoyed our day, we hired a guy to take us round also take photos which is well worth it. The zoo itself is a little run down but still worth the visit if you are in the area. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The zoo is so smelly, so ill-kept and horribly maintained that it feels like you're going to catch something just by being there. The animals are treated horribly and kept in these tiny excuses for "habitats" that it's enough to make you sick. A short conversation with the caretakers even revealed that they don't even give proper veterinary care to... More

Mali the elephant has been there, alone, for 35 years and her health is suffering. She needs to go to a sanctuary. Mali committed no crime, but she has been in solitary confinement on cement floors all those years. She and all of the animals deserve much better than this place!!!! Don't go and demand they close this place.

Worst zoo in the world! Animals have the worst living conditions with no veterinary care! By visiting the zoo you help keep these animals in these horrid conditions! Don't visit the zoo!! #freemali
