I am reviewing the Avilon Zoo at Tiendesitas, Pasig. The whole place had an ark facade. There is limited number of animals but otherwise an okay treat for the young ones. I took my son here on his birthday and he enjoyed feeding farm animals. Not excellent but just okay.

We went there during the Christmas weeks crossing from Marikina and Montalban which is filled with people doing their last minute shopping. This place albeit not so big offers a variety of animals you cannot see in public zoos. a great alternative for children and the rest of the family to visit.

A long bus ride. Then tricycle. Not easy to find. Went mid-week. Arrived early. Very quiet. I like the ethos of the place. They could use more support. I'd like to see less concrete enclosures for some of the animals and an attempt at more natural habitat. Not a wasted trip.
