Imagine yourself cruising through an underwater garden filled with tropical fish. This is exactly what you will experience during your 45 minute dive. On board the submarine you will descend to a submerged reef 45 meters beneath the surface. However the first stop is at 25 meters where you will see a colorful display of corals and different types of reef fish. In most of the dives the submarine is greeted by a school of blue or yellow-stripped Snappers. Common Lion-fish, Yellow Box Fish and turtles are usually found here. Next stop at 40 meters is yet another type of coral garden and depending on current the submarine will be beached on a sandy spot just close to a big cave. The exterior lights of the submarine will enable you to see the different types of fish taking shelter inside the cave

It is a waste of time and money. You basically pay 120 USD each to watch underwater feeding show. Yes, despite a global campaign to stop fish feeding as it destroys the ecosystem, they feed the fish. This was not informed before we booked the tour otherwise we would never do it. 2 scuba divers feed a bunch of surgeon... More

The submarine dive is truly a great experience and the coral and marine life which I seen 100 ft below sea level is superb.

Wished the submarine experience could have started on time. The attendants were very friendly and accommodating. They gave those who wished to some food for the fishes. The waters were so clear that we can see clearly how the huge and colorful fishes would swim towards the food thrown on the waters. There were complimentary refreshments on the boat while... More

Not much can be seen from the window of the submarine. It may be a good experience to have a ride on submarine but extremely far from worthy. I would recommend to do snorking or diving to enjoy the underwater world of Maldives compared to whale submarine

Trip on submarin was great experience. But the view wasn't as good as I wait for. The trip takes about 45 minutes. There was just one coral reef and in the middle of the trip we had to change places with people from the opposite side. Not good value for money.

If you are new to snorkelling and diving , this is an excellent alternative. And the service is good. Our trip was delayed by quarter of an hour due to currents , and the staff arranged for some dead fish to be hung outside our windows so that we can spot some lovely reef fish swimming up for a meal... The whale submarine is a mini sub with windows that takes you down to see the reef in Male. The attraction is expensive (US$ 120 per person) and lasts about 2 hours. The ride can be booked from your hotel or from the counter at Male Airport. You are picked up at the presidential jetty in Male and short boat... More
