I love shopping here. So many interesting shops on so many levels. Supermarket located in the basement, close to our hotel, so we can stock up on drinks and snacks here. I always call into Kum Wah Watch & Pens Dealers at LG077. Lovely chinese man owns the shop. We have bought so many watches from him. I call in... More

Loved the experience, would definitely recommend this mall. We did this mall during our 7 hour layover at KL, enroute to Penang. Use the KLIA express train which leaves from the airport and takes you directly to the city, the is called KL Sentral. The return ticket is for RM 70. From there you take the LRT, which is another... Cultural Defining place for KL shoppers. One of the first shopping centres in KL. The history and diversity of its shops has a certain vibe that other shopping centres cannot mimic. The colloquial word 'lepak' could be best associated with Sungei Wang.

This is one of the oldest Malls in Malaysia. It has a food court on the roof top selling local fare. This is a place if you have time to look around, you could find a bargain. Things are much cheaper than the surrounding upmarket malls around Bukit Bintang. Shopping here gives you a feel what it was like before... More

Right by the Capitol hotel where we stayed and is a great place with cheap clothes and bargains. Pays to go around 11am and after as some shops open later in the morning.

Located on Jalan Sultan Ismail, opposite Lot 10, Sungai Wang translates to River of Money. A shopping mall with lots of tiny outlets selling everything imaginable from fashion ware to jewellery, watches and shoes. The anchor tenant is Parkson Department Store and the Giant Supermarket occupies its lower ground floor. There is a food court on its upper level. Sungai... More

Kuala Lumpur has its own mini gems of shops, it's definitely found in Sungei Wang Plaza. Products on sale range from skin care to luggage bags to electronic goods, not forgetting clothes, shoes and food, of course! This is not for the faint hearted but if you are an avid budget shopper, you will love it !

All the new malls are boring... same old same old and same brands replicated many times over but for original local eateries and boutiques nothing beats SW. So if you are bored with all the new mega malls SW is the place to go to
