I visited the Galeri Petronas - READrawing exhibition as a tourist in early July 2014. There was quite a large number of works by various artists on display illustrating the creativity of drawing and its place as an art-form in its own right, not just as a sketch for a "more finished", work. There was a diverse range of works... More

If you are a fan of architecture you wil certainly enjoy this galleria, where they have many models of the process of construction and design of the petronas. So if that sounds like something you would enjoy, like i do, then go ahead.

We headed from our hotel to the Petronas Towers which was just up the road from our hotel, THE SHANGRI LA, the towers were awe inspiring. We went across the bridge initially then on to the top of the towers for the whole view. We purchased the tickets prior to our visit to KL on the net, then called in... More

Lots of shops but not a great selection of stock. Bought some Godiva chocs which were very expensive, more so than England and America. Also had some food there which was very cheap and tasted it, it was disgusting. It was a bit of a let down really. Didnt bother going right to the top as i heard KL tower... More

If you're visiting the KLCC Suria shopping centre, Twin Towers, or associated lovely garden area, make sure to call in at this free art gallery on level 3. The exhibitions provide a fascinating insight into Malaysian development and culture, especially from a contemporary perspective. The staff are also most helpful and a delight. Well worth a visit.

The purpose of this art gallery is to support the development of the arts in Malaysia, making it readily accessible to the general public. I'd say they have succeeded, as this art gallery located in a shopping mall has free entry. If you are in the area and have some time to spare, drop by and have a look at... More

As a local, I believe GALERI PETRONAS has evolved from time to time and during my visit, they were having The Art of Architecture by Foster + Partners. It is the first exhibition of this kind by Foster + Partners in South East Asia and GALERI PETRONAS has shown that they a dynamic world class gallery. Through out the year,... More

This was a nice, quite small gallery in the big shopping center under the Petronas towers. The art collection was nicely displayed and was interesting to us because in Finland we rarely see Asian art. The entrance was free of charge. I can recommend this gallery.

This classy facility at the base of the Petronas Towers is an easy walk. Cross the busy streets at the crossings with traffic lights.

This gallery is located inside a shopping mall. It is free so it is wort popping in no matter what is on display. You need to give some basic details and they give you a key for a locker to store your bags in. We saw a display of modern design from Europe - it was fine but not earth... More
