Taman Tasik Perdana is a terrific place to visit, with at least two major attractions that I can endorse: the KL Bird Park and the Masjid Negara mosque. It also boasts the Orchid Garden (which I didn't see) and other highlights. It's a worthy stop on a multi-day stay. But, if you're going to go, do some research first! The... More

This huge park/garden was originally laid out by the British when they colonized Malaysia. Set in the middle of the city, this green belt provides a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur. There is an orchid, rose and flower garden as well as a bird and a deer park. One can easily spend the whole day... More

The location is quite strategic and its easy to find by public transport. We took KTM from Batu Caves and stop at Kuala Lumpur station, it cost RM 2 per person. The KTM is very clean and enjoyable. The lake garden is less than 5 minutes away from there. The area is huge and you can visit so many tourist... More

The last time I went there, I certainly found the maintenance lacking. The lake is nice though and definitely a quick get away from the busy city.

I love this place...its big enough to explore almost whole day and found so many spots that great for photography shot. Also, this lake garden already famous among photographer and bridals. Really nice. You can pay a visit here by your own vehicles, taxi or just walk from the Kuala Lumpur komuter station. About 30 minutes walk from station. Also... More

Taman Tasik, litetally Lake Gardens, is virtually in the heart of KL. The landscaping is beautifully done, and there are so many parts of the park for you to simply enjoy the best that nature can offer. Sure there are some other attractions, like the childrens's playgounds, but this is nature's own playground.

There's nothing much to do at the park itself, so if you're there, it'll be a good idea to visit the Islamic Museum and other smaller attractions, rather than the actual park itself. Park is also not well-maintained and fountains etc are not in working order (or perhaps they simply switched them off for whatever reason).
