This museum covers all the history of how the police were formed. The display takes you through the stages and is very informative. I was the only visitor and had a good tour. All the displays were explained and their significance to the history. Good collection of weapons an confiscated weapons including home made ones. Well worth a visit and... More

i went to the museum as part of a day trip to the Park and was glad that I did. The best aspect of the museum isn't the exhibits. It is the narrative that accompanies them. If you don't take time to read the information presented, the museum trip would be relatively short, as you can only look at uniforms... More

Learned lots - our visit made more exciting by loads of kindergarten children hurtling through place followed by hassled teachers! Interesting displays of weaponry and we learnt a lot about different Malaysian regions and history.

This is great. Even my local friends did not know this Museum. Locate few minutes walk from Bird Park in a nice, quite hill. It covers the history of law enforcement in Malaysia. The part i enjoyed the most was the gun exhibition. There show the gun that Malaysian Police used and using now. Most people will spend a lot... More

This museum kept me interested for a good couple of hours. It not only gives a great historical insight into the evoluotion of law enforcement in Malaysia, but the history of Malaysia from the Portugese/Dutch and British imperialism, right through to today. On display are also many weapons (including illegal ones seized by police), as well as service weapons and... More

We went based on the reviews on trip advise and are so glad we did. The grounds contain interesting historical items and the museum itself is well organised and provides a fascinating insight into current and historically policing. And the whole experience is free. The nearby Park is also worth a visit.

If you are visiting the National Mosque or the Islamic Arts Museum if you keep your eye open you will see a sign on the road that the Museum is on directing you up a side road to the Police Museum which is about a 10 minute walk. I found the museum very interesting as it charted the history of... More

We were heading towards KL bird park and saw this place on the way. Free entry and virtually empty except for a group of very young cadets from Malaysia. The museum attendant must have been bored as he decided to give us a guided tour himself, while the cadets were simply interested in us as English tourists. Fascinating museum and... More

Free entrance so can't go wrong! Friendly staff and good lay out and is very informative. Learnt a lot about recent Malaysian history, including the emergency, and they even have a couple of tanks and a big boat outside! Considering it's free and close to the other attractions (national mosque, Islamic arts centre, national museum and planetarium) might as well... More
