We went there looking forward to a wonderfull experience and were shocked. It was dirty ( far mor than anywhere else ) the people were not friendly and the smell - disgusting. We had my daughters with us and they did not feel safe. We loved KL and everywhere else but NOT little India.

Little India is a nice place to spend one or two hours if you dont have nothing to do while you are in KL. There are numerous stores selling clothes, spices and some differents indian items. It is worth to visit and to buy souvenirs.

Highly recommend Little India (especially the bazaar outside of Masjid jamek area) to get great deals on clothing. If you're on vacation and looking to get gifts for family and friends back home, this is the place to go.

I like culture as much as the next guy. So when I see all the reviews on TA about Iittle India I said this is a place I must visit. I also visited Masjid India and the difference between the two places is like night and Day. Little India is more like a Ghetto then a true representation of India.... More

Not a bad market, I found chinese and muslim markets better priced than here. I recently went to phuket and bangkok and the same knock-offs here are so expensive by comparison. A purse for 150baht ($30) can be bargained down to 75 or even 60. Here the starting price was 250 ringit - around $75! A long way off cheap... More

On some three trips to Malaysia I've never managed to deliberately go to "Little India" deliberately. Instead I seem to end up passing through the Brickfields area enjoying the depth and colour of the Indian culture that abounds here. Unlike Chinatown which has a defined boundary, and then fringes of related shops etc Little India is a smooth transition, the... More

After Central market, we headed to Little India market, it's just a short strip called Little India market. Fresh fruits, authentic India cuisine. Colourful with flower stalls along the strip, yummy curry puffs!!!!

In KL there are a few little Indias. One is in the Brickfields area, and another on the other side of Pasar Seni near Masjid Jamek The masala dosa are great at both areas as is the other Indian food choices. The food is a good as in India but probably a bit more hygenic.

It was quite pretty in this area. People are friendly and there are lots of places to eat. The cuisine is more of a south Indian taste. But many restaurants in the area.
